    how old is pup now ? if starting to mature mothership can kind of leave and pack leader authority can start taking it place. this is a natural response in wild. kind of telling them im boss dont challange me and sort of now its time you fend for your self. if younger like 8-10 maybe still trying to feed off her with notging to give ?????

    for a husky to become the king of the dogs it needs to become below 20c lol not many places have that requirment and still nost arnt pure there a mix of malamute/husky blood. but then is that for more workability or is that just because they put good dog over good dog regardless of breed

    3m Welsh 18m English, fair few more to chose from. TC And considering most of our players are from teams in the south of Wales.Compared to England picking players from the whole of England. We don't do to bad. Do you mean like that Welsh bloke Taulupe Faletau? i know feck all about rugby but wasnt the winninh wales team against england at word cup majority english heritage like 9 players. i sware i read it somewhere. or was it 5 as i type this im doubting myself lol how can foreign nationals play for other countries??

    be perfect if they did one around the 170 size. i like the led but some these fields around here it barely reaches half way, on things that arnt caught in a couple of turns i worry its gonna run out the beam i find me self running after dog and quarry haha

    i would never own a straight collie/grey or a bull/grey. prefer a blend of traits. as do many hence why its becoming harder to find certain breed types not washed with others. yeah it can be a lottery with lurcher to lurcher but someone wins it each week lol i think the way lurchers should be bred for is working ability. not percentages. shouldnt cares whats in it so much but more how the said dog is performing. i rarely ask what breeds are in a dog when seeking a pup all i care about is the parents are doing the job i want consistantly and same a few generations before the parents. think to m

    gutting to lose pups after all the hard work put in . if you think the chicken good chance it being campylobacter. seen this with heat lamps in kennels on to raw chicken. pups are always at risk to it. didnt the vet take a stool sample?

    skycat has prity much told you how to build the bond and how to draw her in BUT as a difference of opinion id find a small enclosed field she can still have a mad run in. if it is heavily saluki saturated 4 weeks on a lead could cause more issues. salukis dont do well left on the lead for long periods and once off have that erge just to pure release. you could be like pure gold but all those weeks of bent up energy will release and recall could be just as hard. def do all the hand feeding and playing in the house garden with games and tug but i'd still let her have her run in a smaller control

    id go to every local kennel she is a nice bitch and they will see ££££££ signs. id ask to see each kennel just to make sure. also dont tell them your going just turn up. to many times a rescue will say there not there when lurchers are concerned when a lot of the time they are. rescues are doing this more and more.

    yep all very spot on. i also find some will squat in cover also in the hope you will walk by. almost rabbit like. fun little deer to run in woodland. amazes me sometimes the cover they hit and go straight through and the dog just rebounds.

    well dont take my word on this but there quarranteen laws are a lot stricter then ours. i think dogs need like a pet passport and then they have to stay in airport quarranteen for 6-12 months whilst they do there checks at your expense. only what i picked up watching border control on sky haha looks a very expensive process once add there flights and paying for the quarranteen at the airport

    i think rabbits wouldnt be worth the hassel but lets not forget preban alot of lads could get £2.50+ per pound of venison. i now many deer mad men who could notch up a prity decent wage of that

    couldnt think of anything worste for a saluki type being chained up to a lead wouldnt want that for any lurcher but saluki types sure find it hardest. this is where the horror stories arise of the breed being escape artist or no recall if they slip the lead. they just want to release all that energy. same with the husky types. then some fool will write a book saying how its the breed type not taking into the circumstances to why its made to bolt. reason why people like you penny who have a skill of writing need to use your info and experience to help educate said people. a well writen hand boo

    had one of my dogs blasted with a lecky fence she acts funny on the same land when ever i go there she still does her job but she can still defo remember .I remember quickly brushing my hand over an electric fence 1 day.no shock so thought great it must be off.Climbing over fence line between my legs grabbed it to push it lower and feck me what a jolt.felt like the bones in my arm were rattling lol my mucca got caught in the cattle ones that look like suspension coils he got the lamp and belt twisted in it. pissed my self laughing as he was getting shocked. karma got me tho next feed i was wa

    you get it with pups they go through phases i wouldnt take any bearing on them feeding on mother they'l do that for as long as the mother has milk. i wouldnt worry yet even simple temp change in kennel can effect a pups eating habbits. crap consistancy changes can happen often also in weaning stage

    i can give it ago see how she fares i know she would last on most nights as she has a huge engine my only concern is on those nights that test the fittest of dogs i sware by that small meal at 4 doesnt half help get them through it but i see how she goes with out tomorrow and let you know if she still does it. im out tonight but without the lamp but ive fed her at 8 this morning

    if i lamped her night before she would be fed in the motor when we finish then would have something small in the day at 4pm ready for the night. if no lamp session night before she fed 8am and something small around 4pm to go out for around midnight. this has always worked for me. find this feeding routine makes sure she has enough in tank for how ever long we are out.
