  1. have you or your mate used that site before. looked at payment methods and its only western union or money gram or wire transfer. these methods are not buyer protected. effectively they could take your money not post and have no come back. great price if its genuine. my mate is after a set so some info if you used the site be great
  2. i like the red filter on the 150 led proper poachers lamp. just bright enough to run stuff on but not advertise to the whole county your out
  3. its not as simple as that is it. i dont mind at the moment as she isnt stalking and is still picking up the ones she thumps up. but as some have said it CAN progress thats my concern. tbh i posted the thread after a few beers when my brain was like fog.
  4. the only thing i can take from it is she now wants them to run. ive calmed the coursing down with her maybe that could be linked. as the hare was always up and running so she had her release on them?????? but then she gets that with all the rabbits that dont squat. cant be no other reason as this bitch strike rate is top notch as i said her run to catch ratio is very very high or was before this as id say ot dropped a little and she was like a snipper on squatters. if it was about using her brain she would realise doing this is not helping her catch. tbh a run on a rabbit is never on to long
  5. she got a cracking catch to run ratio shes electric on rabbits yet ran cleaver on the hare very up and at them to a degree but boxy type. i could understand her using her brain if it was helping catch rate. bloody salukis just when you think you got them figured they throw you another curve ball
  6. , well she not just point+slip dog then lol, sounds like she using her brain a bit, dogs are strange aint they, now ive supposed to have a dog with good brain Buck 1 x gsdx grey, but he as mad down the beam as what my bullxs were. he hit squatters that fast he goes arse over tit, and that hell of a sight seeing a 85lb dog do that reminds me of my bitch before this lol
  7. yeah could be. i might just be reading to much into it to many beers and to much time on my hands tonight lol but odd for there be no build up. she nailed a good few squatter the night before she started it. just hope it doesnt progress as due to a loss she my last real runner here at mo and wanted her to bring on the sapling. fingers crossed it wont progress to anything else.
  8. right people got a coursing bred bitch she 6 now has done well for me over the years on edible put some decent numbers away day and night. never stalked or any of them anouying things. great manners when out. shes always took squatters when the chance has arrived untill last few nights she changed just out the blue. shes took 100's of squatters in her years but now she will fly down the beam slow up and stamp her feet to raise the quarry. she started it two sessions ago and same again last night. every squatter she did it on. im not worried yet as she putting them to bed but do you guys think
  9. supose it depends on your kennel some trap all the warmth in others dont hold any heat in. some kennels need heat lamps others dont. i added extra insulation maybe to much as the dogs in summer tend to sleep outside rather then in it???? i got a raised camp bed in my storage part now so if back stupid o clock i dont wake the house. slept in comfort in there loads lol
  10. some good points there about being over used to heat. reminds me of my mates dog his is indoors , heating always blearing. he dont do to well in cold temps ferreting.cant think of the word is it climatisation ???ive slept in my kennels enough in winter no heater and i been very warm to the point i always have to take me fleece off and just sleep in me vest.
  11. fuji your dogs seem well line bred. how close is to close in your opinion ? to locking in them traits but not have deformities or problems ?
  12. agree hares aint easy BUT theres a huge difference from day to night. not heard of many coursing dogs catch 16-20 in one day with 1 dog. night time 15+ is not impossible. my bro in law with his barny bred dog knocked 17 in one night. best in day 4/4. massive difference there. ive seen some prity poor failed day dogs catch hares on the lamp.sounds some animal that Paul.he was ok at night tbh. the 4/4 wasnt the fens though. think that was on the planes i think.
  13. i aint read all the pages so sorry if mentioned but how that rough bitch bred??
  14. agree hares aint easy BUT theres a huge difference from day to night. not heard of many coursing dogs catch 16-20 in one day with 1 dog. night time 15+ is not impossible. my bro in law with his barny bred dog knocked 17 in one night. best in day 4/4. massive difference there. ive seen some prity poor failed day dogs catch hares on the lamp.
  15. if shes been out running with another older dog. i wouldnt say sickened as it should have been around enough catches. its not an ideal way to start a dog but some do it that way. i'd more say confidence. i seen it in coursing dogs when they've been only slipt in on a course almost over as pups to bring them on. then when on there own a sort of trot after it then come back sort of with a look like should i be after that ? most of the time its unsurety. she knows she can do it with the older dog but is she aloud to do it on her own. bit of ferreting letting her know you are after rabbits maybe
  16. my bitch is bidible if i give her what she wants. thats a pure release of energy. work her as much as i can and when i cant she out chasing me on the quad. she loves to race me on it. find do this few times a week on top of work load she great. walk to heal off slip, work hand signals . sat after jumping gates/fences waiting for me. just a general pleasure. but and a big but if i dont push her enough when out she will rebel. its like giving a adhd kid e numbers and saying sit down in a chair for the day. it aint gonna happen. saluki types are the hardest up to about 18 months then when you ca
  17. never a truer word j darcy they dont think like other dogs. i love there ferral type nature and once you click together your have a very bidable dog
  18. mine was £50 included next day delvery so about right price then £45. why do clulite themselves add all that extra ???

Is it possable to fit a Red Cree bulb instead of the white one, do they/could they make such a thing. im working on them doing some thing similer at the momet but it will take a few months to do a proto tip

  21. Scotish highlands or south Ireland. ferry cheap enough to ireland from pembrook some nice spots if travel south from the ferry port
  22. i bought my clulite one for £50 which included postage. clulite have a reputation for building strong lamps/torches. are those the ones of alibaba very cheap copy ?? or what ever it called. dont wanna mess any sales up by my brothers only lasted 4 lamp sessions before led started messing up. his second the handle cracked so had to be taped to keep wiring dry. lucky he ordered a few. my clulite has bounced off the floor, been stepped on in dark being wireless and me nipper also throwing it about and it only got a scratch or two. plus it been kicked by something alot bigger and stronger. clulite
  23. dont think their jealous mate theirs loads a decent dogs about.some genuine lurchermen dont like a promotional team bumming dogs up to inflate puppy prices n stud fees some are trying to start a trend were new kids will think it normal to give a grand for a lurcher pup.a few over here were trying it but they were put right. couldnt care on what they wanna charge or who says what. but a good dog is a good dog. agree theres alof of very decent dogs living in the shadows where there owners want them to be. but a good dog is a good dog lol
