well lads we got the phone call from keeper to do our annual thinning out of the very large rookery just this side of Scottish borders so an early start and on arrival we had a bit craik with keeper and landowner and then just got on with the job in had rapids never flickered and after a refill at lunch time we crossed the road and went to work on the others some great banter as we all tried to outdo each other lol total =129- happy landowner & 3 happy lads oh and ians little cocker deserves a mention she never missed a beat and carried a lot of birds to us today

I tried to get this gun up and running for nelly and took it to a very clever rapid lad [no names] as soon as he stripped it he said someone has tried to prise the valve out without removing grub screw from side of block -using pointy nosed pliers and had wrecked thread resulting in constant leak -the cocking dog was grating like fck and on closer inspection it had a square spring in a round hole!!!!-erm that's why its making the grating sound -all in all nelly has bought a knacker of a gun and paid over the top for it -good luck mr Dempsey lol nd hope you get it up and running for jjm as I ha

farmer friend rang to tell us his neighbour was having bother with jackdaws feeding in cattle sheds so off we went [me craig &ian] with the correct tools for the job lol and although we stayed for seven hours it seemed to fly past I shot the woodies in some nearby trees but most of the corvies were shot on the feed troughs and one or two off the shed roof -happy farmer

out for a walk on local pit heap this afternoon and troy picks up a strong scent and takes off into the gorse bushes and net thing all hell broke loose and once I had ran up to the commotion troy had it under control and had dispatched a vixen -koda never batted an eyelid whilst this went on -these two are like chalk &cheese even though bred from same parents
