I invited a fellow member [pav] for a spot of rabbit bashing as I know he uses same thermal kit as me and we had to work a bit harder to get near some of these and I have to admit pav is a very good shot and I wouldn't hesitate to take him along again -86 in total

me and craig out last night with thermal and 30 odd bunnies accounted for back in bed for 3.30 am my mate disrupts my sleep with a request to go to farm for ferals etc and by nine im standing at back door at the ready with the trusty mk1 [refurbished stock] and over a good few hours we cleared the ferals and picked off woodies that were feeding on spilt rapeseed oil with crows taken from horse paddock -im goosed now and need bed but just been roped in to baby sitting duties whilst wife /daughter go galavanting to some wedding do lol

went to different spot last night and once the rain gave up I managed to get on a few paddocks that have been re -populated since my last visit and I put another dent in the numbers so horsey people should be happy

decided the mk1 stock needed a refurb so over last few weeks ive sanded it down oiled sanded and oiled 6 coats in all and using only Danish oil [no laquers] its come out very nice will leave it a week then get a bit wax into it to weather proof it

a few people have commented like yours mate , you couldn't wipe them out with hunting techniques as theres so many only mixy and this new disease would be capable of making a significant difference I also have to add that my posts aren't from same place as I do a fair bit of travel between permissions
