  1. Cracking post socks, the young bitch is taking everything in her stride.
  2. What is it Laurie as the link won't open for me.
  3. The dog has already brought the sock back up Paul, no need for visit to vets.
  4. Can never say there's no chance of a jill dieing if she's not taken out of season just the same as you can't say she'll not die if given the jill jab. What I can say is I've had jills for many years and if I'm not breeding with them they've been left in season and I've yet to see one poorly never mind die, just make sure to keep the hutch cleaned out regular [as should happen anyway] and all will be fine.
  5. That's just reassured him eh? Just making sure Ross,, plenty jokes, but no actual advise.. wouldn`t want the dog to suffer while he sat watching its arsehole for a glimpse of sock. Granted there was a lot of jokes but advice was given, liquid parrafin or soda crystals would've done the trick.

    How Long

The pups look in great order.
  7. How was it a waste of time, did you not get any. It's a waste of time cause it will no stop young ones buying them numb nuts!! Lol Steady, language like that might see you sitting in the stand.
  8. You haven't done much shooting have you mate.
  9. How was it a waste of time, did you not get any.
  10. +1. Used the above on cut pads in the past and it has worked well. It comes in many forms, dab on liquid, aerosol and ointment, after applying it leave the wound uncovered.
  11. David Bailey has nothing to worry about Den.
  12. cheers tam , they'll be well photographed when a bit older , pics to follow once i txt them to ross lol Look forward to seeing them, I do like merles.
  13. Looks tidy Laurie. Did someone tell you to stand to attention for the pic?
  14. I did ask on here about that a while back, the responses were that it just delayed the period rather than bypass it altogether. A jab of Laura Bollin every month will make sure a bitch doesn't come into season.
  15. No need for anti-biotics unless the wound is infected, anti-biotics attack the infection and if there's none there they'll weaken the dogs natural immune system. Doctors have picked up on this and are loathe to prescribe anti-biotics unless they really have to. Vets though see the £££££. Just over three weeks ago my bitch hit a hedge with a wire fence running through it whilst lamping, she ended up with a 4" cut on her gracillis muscle, I cleaned it up with salt water and had her in the porta mag twice daily. Here's the before and after pics, must add the first pic really doesn't do th
  16. You've not long arrived here and it seems someone's getting under your skin. Steady up mate, this site will drive you nuts if you let it.
  17. Good to see them starting off, she's in the right hands I'm looking forward to reading about her progress. Socks are you sure there's about a quarter saluki in her, I thought only the sire had saluki in him and it was only an eighth.
  18. Trainspotting. One flew over the cuckoo's nest. Just a boys game. Reservior dogs. True grit.
  19. Snodgrass didn't get sent off for that tackle Lab he got a yellow for it. I was hoping with a change of manager we might get a new look Scotland team but to be honest that performance was worse than the one in Wales with Levien in charge. Seems to me it's harder to get out of that squad than into it. When was the last time Charlie Mulgrew played left back? Why would you pick someone to play a position he doesn't play week in week out? If he wanted to play Mulgrew he should've played him at center half instead of Caldwell who never has been a player and last night he had a f**king m
  20. Hello there do you who bred your pup. Atb gvc. Are you thinking what I'm thinking Gary?
  21. Well done 3Turns for giving the bitch a chance and putting the work in. As has been said I'd take her out on her own, it would give her confidence without the distractions and help to build a bond between you. But if you are out with your mate and his dog steals the bitches rabbit give yer pal a crack.
  22. Would say it's not the full hound side causing these problems, not wanting to sound cheeky but the problem could be more human than canine. Going by what you've wrote it sounds like the bitch could be sore, possibly injured herself while out ferreting. First thing I'd have done would be to check her for injuries, if you don't feel competent enough to do that take her to someone who can. All the best with her.
