  1. Same here, plus i am last in line..... farmhouse - cattle - me. Whereabouts do you fit the inline pump? Johnny, that is exactly the kind of thing i was thinking about. Don't suppose you know how he did it please?
  2. Because the pressure is so bad here it takes hours to water the garden. You cannot use a spray head on the hose as it just dribbles out, you have to crouch down and water each plant at the base. Is there something you can attach to the outside tap or on the hose or somewhere to increase the pressure? Was thinking along the lines like a jet spray but not as powerfull or as fine a jet?
  3. I don't think i can put poison down anywhere because of the hens Meroman
  4. They were not red mite, more lice like, than Northern mite. The lice/mite were not responsible for the deaths though? Something was able to upturn the nests and partially eat some of the chicks. I am always on top of the housing with regards to mites. Houses are washed and bleached regularly, and every time they are cleaned out sprayed with a combination of benzyl bezonate and Aludex (Amitraz). Bedding is powdered with powder mite killer. All hens and canaries have been sprayed/dabbed with frontline. There is definitely a mouse getting in, and my money is on that. One of the hens
  5. I had the Sony and it was a good little camera Have the Canon now, but find they cant take much work before things go wrong?
  6. As far as i am aware they are still being issued. There was talk of stopping them but i don't think they did??
  7. Well Rob, here's my theory. A dog is much more likely to take a knock running through woodland than anywhere else really. One knock to a toe can severely limit or end a dogs working life...yes? So the more you run your dog through woodland the greater the chance of it happening % wise. My opinion is, if you don't NEED to run your dogs through woodland, if just out on a walk etc then don't do it, if you are working your dogs in it, then that is different. A dogs feet will get plenty of variation of surface/levels/terrain in any field, and road work to toughen the pads. The theory that
  8. Superb little incubator, i swear by them
  9. Disgusting really........another way to make money out of people and probably cause suffering and death to a great many dogs
  10. That may cause more problems than it helps. Easy for dogs to knock up toes, legs running into trees, on fallen branches and the multitude of things hidden in the undergrowth. You cannot wrap them in cotton wool but at the same time avoid places which can cause injury if you don't need to go
  11. He looks really handsome, in the first pic especially Kay, just a pity Madge was camera shy
  12. Just keep an eye on him, keep him quiet, no excitement till your mam gets home, he should be ok
  13. Please don't think all secure hospitals for people with learning disabilities are like this, they are not. I noticed a comment in the programme that they should be shut down and people cared for in the community, and in an ideal world that would be the very best thing, and all decent staff want his. BUT!...... The main problem preventing this is of course...money. And probably one of the reasons for some of the behaviour (Not the abuse) in this documentary. It is hard for people to imagine the challenging behaviours, the levels and intensity which can be displayed by people with learning
  14. Would advise you have done all you can dow ith your bitch first before getting a pup. One or the other will end up on the back burner. Plus a pup with a disobedient adult...nightmare and the quickest way to teach it bad habbits.....funny how they always pick up bed habits the easiest
  15. You really need your GP out, a chiropractor may make things 100 times worse if it is something severe. My sisters vertebrae are crumbling away sometimes protrude into the spinal cord . The pain is also the same as yours.
  16. I have a good idea, some captive ones near the A1 Morpeth?
