  1. Probably Rocky, if there was last year. I was just listing the things from last year i remember. And to be honest its pure luck i remember what i did
  2. Start times are usually about 12ish? Not a huge show, there is a marquee with various craft/hunting stuff. And a few stalls with leads etc. Birds of prey. Ferret rescue. Beer tent and burger bar. The wives etc of the huntsmen do an absolutely fantastic tent, all home cooked quiches, sarnies, cakes, scones etc. And proper cups of tea/coffee There was terrier lure chasing around obstacles, and various other things i cannot remember now Classes were... Hound show Terrier Lurcher Bull x Pure whippet. Cock of the North qualifier. Thoroughly enjoyed it last year
  3. :clapper: Cracking pups, Romeo is the absolute double of the dam Looking in fabulous condition as i knew he would be What age/height are they now Robbie? And by the way....having Sam withdrawls A few photos would not go amiss if ye haven't time to get your lanky arse up here with him
  4. Yes Dotty, it was mice killing the chicks and/or disturbing the hens off the nests at night. Hence my joy at Puss puss killing them daily at the mo. This vole (and it was the first vole) was caught in the large shed the same place the mice inhabit. And like Ethyl, said, it went straight to the ferrets after the photos. We are always overrun with mice but this year seems to be worse than ever, cannot even leave rabbit etc out to defrost for the ferrets without it being gnawed at and covered in mouse droppings. I can hand on heart say he gets very few birds, i don't know if the talk of cats b
  5. I've heard the words......... I pod, Wii, nintendo, card reader, Xbox etc etc. To me they are just that...words, would not know what they were if one dropped on my head Do not own a dvd/video player. All i have is a normal size TV and a basic computer. I have survived very happily this long without ever needing any and will continue to do so
  6. You know i did think it looked like a vole when i saw it. The tail threw me with it being long, as i've never heard of a bank vole before. I feel really guilty now, as i killed it after the cat caught it

  9. It has been said Earth
  10. Saw that Hoolie when i collected Jazz, perhaps Jazz was your Bitches Aunt, Dukes sister?? I must find out her correct breeding.
  11. They look & sound like litter sisters. Although if my memory is right i was sure he said Hoolie (Not the Hoolie lurcher but a pure) was the Sire to an Irish coursing grey bitch? Tell you what if your bitch had been young enough i would take your hand off to get one
  12. Very nearly the double of my old bitch Corky...same age also She was out of Duke x Puma, 2nd gen 3/4 bred I think. Was an excellent dog out with terriers in her day marking & catching, wish she was a pup again as she put us on the foxes & still is a good lamping bitch although she feels it for a few days afterwards Did you get her from 'B' at the Gill? Sounds like they may be related. Jazz was 1st gen, 1st cross or so i was told. B had named her Panther before i got her. My lass died recently, i was so very lucky to have had her, and doubt i will get one of her kind a
  13. Very nearly the double of my old bitch Corky...same age also
  14. They might well do with exercise. I got a big lad with terrible flat feet once, walked and walked him to get them better, forgot though the poor lad had never been walked for months and his pads ended up hot & swollen His toes did tighten up though, he had huge hare type feet when they were better. Bullies normally have tight cat like feet
  15. But i love it! Tweaked it a little bit with Picasa.
  16. Getting on average on mouse per day This lad just turned up here as a very poorly youngster one morning. Walked into a yard full of dogs and never left. Obviously been raised with dogs, how he got all the way out here though I'll never know...perhaps dumped when his testicles got too big and smelly
  17. Someone needs their arse kicking then Corky, ridiculous amount of rabbits, makes my mouth water everytime i go past
  18. Have you asked at the farm on the Pegswood straight (just after greyhound kennels) The fields are always heaving with rabbits, but i don't know the laws on shooting near a road? Will PM you another place
  19. This will be about the right time for me to leave this conversation me thinks
  20. I'd be on all day with one of those Johnny, have muscles in my right arm like Arnie Going to try the rose on the jet spray. Thank you
