Good pend have seen purrs knock the fallows over preban at night she sounds like she may be worth taking lurchers from does she like teeth ,if so that a good start .atb bunnys.
  4. I've ran a three quarter twenty six ta around seventy pounds took everything day or night the Alsatians around now are like they were prewar days there was a blip of those kc rubbish wry few working lines but now one can find good sound working lines once again in th uk. Mostly those that have used alsation types have used rubbish stock hence the inferior Lurcher product like mostly anything working lines are a must when producinganimals bred to perform took first fallow single Buck around thirteen mths plenty long ears temperament excellent soft but a different side in the field of work bomb

  8. Is he a half x? Very racy if he is. . Yes but sire a lurcher dam a Malinois Knpv atb bunnys.[/quote. So it isn't a first cross then ??? . Why not socks it's still f1breeding Lurcher ta malli , the vigour a plenty my advice ta you don't get to caught up with purity when breeding livestock fa work or fa anything fa that matter . That animal will thrive with lots a work day night or straight through double shifts ,unlike some shite bred that Cana hack the demands of graft wintertime be no fear of that animal withering away on a few missions out ,if thy feel yas need some advice whe
  9. Good memories ,time for replication me thinks ,quality one often does take things fa granted more so with livestock .atb bunnys .
  10. . This one of ours nine yrs old he loved em, atb bunnys.
  11. Distance made no difference to the top animals ,in fact it was an advantage at times they only run up to them then the course begins of course deep winter on we'll run land it's different but the best know when ta gear up under foot slips do often happen I don't believe this has a bearing when the long ears are strong .atb bunnys.
  12. i learned from a small age speed ain't the be all and so on,nobody more than myself admires a fast type animal ,but that animal need to have the running brain to know when to apply that speed mostly these track type and game fair runners don't and the majority would Neva learn how to either ,but has for studs in the mix of a Lurcher they can be very good option than a greyhound. Atb bunnys.
  13. with luck there will be some collie whips xs whippet greys sire strike while the irons hot xs top honch grey bitch sire non ped whippet xs collie dog they will be based in Stoke on Trent. Bitch been lined next day or so.atbbunnys.
  14. 2hundred quid beys back in the day very common trucks trailers hoses etc all gambled in a match foxy was much in the same calibre has a top marksman they don't miss when it matters sixty plus unbeaten matches ,now that's a feat that will Neva be matched or surpassed . i believe that puts her in lay mans turns has top running bitch of long ears . Keep the rest they don't come close .atb bunnys.
  15. . Not ta underestimate she was fond off more than the long ear.atbbunnys.
  16. Foxy best bitch lucky best male consistent both animals running when coursing at its peak and lots of good animals around the dancer foxy scenario was that my opinion foxy would have come out on top in a match different ball game that little foxy bitch was nigh on perfection .atb bunnys.

  18. There used be lots of rabbit matches most kilt in a hour at five ways island back old pub on ta Cannock road the champ of that era his now a stuffed specimen in the Stoke museum atb bunnys
  19. Some only no how to add fuel ta the fire ,some may get the bee in the bonnet and clean the nearby vicinity of Conies well before September many moons ago I had a certain fella who constantly shot over me and my jukels when having a morning run ,I soon netted a good deal of them up only to reastablish them ,where they were appreciated fa there running.of course we talking long ears back then it's always wise to leave ones ways for what they are young foolishness seen by some can only be just that ,if that was my bitch I would reign her in now just tick her over half a dozen twice a week let her
  20. This the thing ,one goes about ones way they way they do ,now pesters killing all yr round and take the Wonga for it. One a two on here do just that. Now this fella still a learning and in a few Yrs time his whole outlook maybe totally different .but I sees it like this he stacking the odds in the favour of the sapling and sees on getting it off on a good start ,I would not worry to much offa time a yr he killing pests simples .it be him putting the extra distance come winter between base camp etching find good nights running would it be that creame fawn bitch killing she caught my ha
  21. . Good luck they in general are not has bitch reared but life and a struggle can at times beget good things atb bunnys.
  22. you wouldnt believe what that bitch was like when i first met vin years ago after seeing how she is now. he hadnt had her long when we first met, she had been abused allrite. best thing that ever happened to her was vin. after alot of time and patience he now dont leave home on a hunting trip without her. We had some fun mate...remember her week running wild on the Shropshire Dales...lol. I'm gonna write a book one day on Molly's stories. i do mate. ive never seen a dog vanish like that. i was so pleased to find her after a good few days of searchi yep she had been by your car,
  23. ive gotta agree with you there mate that's my point with the breeding in the bull these days no body knows what's actually gone into the breeding and it gets spot out down the line I know there's Bulls about that have got any from a mastiff to a boxer in the cross and that's only done to make the dog look bigger for some reasonThe best Bull crosses I have seen have all been 26" and under. IMO you don't need taller. The type the proper stuff throw that produce a Bitch 23/25" is handy enough for most things and a very decent tool to own.25 is big enough for where I lamp and I've always favoured
  24. It's no coincidence that f1 bull greys first generation are rarely seen these days and the same could be said if cur collie types ,not these robotics sheep dogs that are rubbish for breeding lurchers. There his still some good Irish staffs about form the Irish lines sphyco stuff that would fit the bill or farmers boy stuff a good one of that line would give lighter serviceable f1s . To much grey can only be a detriment even more so to an already fast twitch muscle bred animal one will find they're blowing out there a uses in a few hrs running ain't wise to get to presumptuous when breeding s
