A good male have been the best I seen graft work terriers included. Bitches can be good but even the top coursing animals were males ,they will always have the edge when everything else equal .bitches seen some good uns but thebitches are harder ta find and of course the bonded type animals can not be in the same league at times has the independent type grafter , some will and only seem to be able to work with a strong bond others it don't make a difference and graft under any scenario handler etc. Does this matter well that open to opinion etc.atb bunnys.

@ Fuji... I think we have all been guilty of staying up too late and getting ourselves embroiled in senseless argument,...it is part and parcel of being passionate about the dogs. It is always a shame when an interesting debate/discussion gets ruined, by bringing personalities into the conversation,..but, once again, that is the t'Internet.. The original poster was only asking about drive in a lurcher and whether or not other enthusiasts favored, a collie or a bedlington ? Hardly controversial, a simple harmless question,..with an easily provided answer,..and mostly down,.. to person -

Have those kc line bred dogs produced anything decent bunnys? Surely there must be a middle ground between Knpv & kc stuff? Or not as the case may be..... . The kc stuff I seen are ok but depends what one wants from the mall they seem very similar to collie types with out the mental traumas some collie types can suffer with fa me when breeding I go. With the very best available bloodlines matter and a mediocre Knpv will always be streets ahead of a kc type .neva been a man fa pure livestock ,everything's better fa a xes now and then just my view.the kc type do seem to be smaller which ma -

Funny how the very best documented cur types came from non description collie types a million mikes from sheep dogs and also posses other breeds in there make up that's a fact some of these cur dogs don't know the meaning of herding in the sense of the modern all eye modern day collies .if it don't get em first time round it sure does come next round fact.atb bunnys. -

Ray if buck starting guarding his terrotory tomorrow would that major less of a dog in the field ,simple question of course not collie enthusiasts look da stud that will face cattle down and put there teeth what the fecks up with biased folk who should have more sence I know what it tells me ,its just that they have to see fa there sells get ya feck head from up ya auses. And see it for what it his. The perfect canine needs working whippet ta give the collie xes what it ain't got drive a hardiness mentally or why not use a small border with a small grey because they being tried and found want -

What surprises me most why some folk automatically presumes a guarding type animal bred from hundreds of yrs of herding dogs when xes with greys lurchers etc automatically stay guarding dogs fecking numpties no experience of such xes on a whole by that I don't mean by y keeping the odd in I mean over several and more of the type ,Ray yas say ya own animal laid back etc kills red s and other things but the dogs bred from a cheque alsation bitch fa fecks sake surely this has a bearing how Buck his and fa lloydy fa fecks sake he seen the odd uns if he has done any true experience on em he would h -

what one would like and what presumes may be like chalk and cheese of course there his very good line bred stuff about but not easily accessible lots of scatter bred stuff that suit lots , the best are three plus decades old there's lots of lads out there that think they have the dogs bollocks but when tested in the correct environment right time ov yr single over a period other time can be found to be very average if not worse.atb bunnys -

Has anyone said human aggression equates to being able to handle teeth? After all, people don't use Rottweilers for lurcher breeding, do they? I think because someone uses a malinois, it has little to do with human aggression...... Let's not kid each other mate, the fact is most likely this.......someone has watched 3 videos on YouTube of a police Mally diving across the bonnet of a car and felling some would be rioter and thought to themselves "That looks handy, I bet that would be the bollocks over a track greyhound !" That will be about the strength of it ! . And how about a collie tha -

. Maybe what if by saying you doubt my word so be it but I'll tell yas for nought ten yrs past the malli xs was first bred in these isles to my knowledge I know fella who bred it and seen it work all teeth it loved them , also fact there be a fella on here who has a male sal xs bred down from it ticked the boxes for him and the welps bred from that ,who other fellas are on here ticked the boxes for them the malli xs will be like all first breeding so will be improved on like the collie xs whippets and everything all els bred da work breed on and with good selective breeding the chances are ta -

I know there still can be found cur types collie types but lots acollie Lurcher lads adding malli blood in to the curs why, I believe fa general hardiness and me tall hardness plus maybe a few other positives time does tell all we know that but the only thing that's against he mall xes ,his there ain't enough of them being bred and tested there's fecking thousands of collies and only one maybe two f1types fugis don and Ray's Bryn on the hunting life fa crying out loud where are all these old type cur xes that are doing it today llloydies dogs carry lots of whippet plus grey ,and the colour
