Just a semi detached. Interest rate went threw the roof , may not be exact on the year as I recall 2 major interest rate rises. All lads at work handing keys back as could nt pay thier mortgages. I do know I did not have a penny left at the end of the month. Used to do a bit of dealing to make a few quid extra

True, they moan about getting mortgages too, my mortgage in 1989 was £720 a month I was earning £1000/£1500 a month had to work sat/ sun. Had similar as down south, rocked my dad to pieces, lost him 3 yr ago aswell. It’s very difficult situation it’s the nightmares that we’re bad at the start for me.. I reckon it will be good especially the fords, etc. it not my cup of tea, all canned in, like a huge water caravan, all the food, shit, staff the lot all contained in a floating structure, ole biddies queing for food stuffing thier guts allday.paying top money for drinks etc, and cabarets I’m not keen on. But, but I’d like to try one day. My mate went all 15 of them around Caribbean, America I believe and he loved it. And thier are a bit quiet , shy country folk,, ground workers so it can’t be bad.

The arguments I got into about cats/ rats/ foxes when I lived with Nieghbour’s ( shit way to live) back 15 yr ago was unbelievable. One bird who used pop round for a drink would always say keep your lurcher locked up my cats roam everywhere.ffs. I do believe 2 of her cats went missing. I told her the cars do fly up this road.

The barge sounds great living with nature , no ties to loads of utility bills, but a barge is a decreasing purchase,£175,000 for a barge say is going to be devaluing daily. A small flat for similar money will make you rent and hopefully increase in value after a few yr. but your on the wagon of paying utilities etc. that’s why I say having money gives you a worry free life. Buy a barge live nice, if you loose £100,000 on it bollox to it crack on enjoy yourself

Money makes you less hesitant to invest ( say property as example) you not worried buying a few house for investment because you have money to back it up if thiers a few months with out tenants etc. or any other problems. Don’t gamble what you can’t afford to loose kind of thing

I went out with few English birds one was effing stunning, looks, figure, right ole dirty thing under the sheets. See her the other day after 25 years , mate it was huge, head like cement truck, back all bent over, doulble chin. On the back of her neck, moustache, not even 50 yrs old. Thought they was filming another Jurassic park when that thing walked in .
