  1. You can't make it out in the picture very well, but the base plate also has perspex to run the water off. I'm flat out on moles now, it'll be my bread and butter till may.
  2. Personally I can afford it so why not? A very true addadge "beware the man with one gun", but I personally enjoy owning the springers I could only dream about forty years ago. It's also partly trying to stop them being lost for ever. I only use two ultra se,s in .177 for work, I rarely get time to hunt for pleasure, but if I do it will be with one of the "classics".
  3. Our feeders look quite similar, great minds and all that. ? This one holds a 12.5kg sack of chipmunk mix.
  4. You were doing really well till you got to the rapid, then there's two 77,s then a third you can't see, then a mk 1 80, mercury s, . Outside two Fwb stocks waiting for actions to come back from blueing. Two Diana 35,s, and two anschutz 33, superstar in the bag and a Diana 45 in the cupboard also.
  5. That's a bloody good idea! Never thought to put targets on my feeders .
  6. Have you ever seen such beauty? All been refurbed
  7. Great job. Wait till I put my scrap collection picture up in the other classic section ?
  8. Three sports before they went off for refurbishment and tuning.
  9. Excellent stuff. I've got 3 fwb sports with Lyn lewington right now having v-mach kits fitted, tp,s opened up a bit and generally fettled. They have already been completely refurbished blueing and the wood. Really can't wait to get out hunting with them this summer. Love old school springers.
  10. Good down here also. Started early like the old days. Interesting that the wasps were like the good old days also.
  11. Whereabouts are you please?
  12. Personally I thought you and I are two of the far too few on there who don't have blinkers on.
  13. That's a fat fecker ? I note the thought police have put you under restrictions on the other channel mate lol
  14. In this instance an electric fence stake. Far from ideal as they take on memory quite quickly, so you have to realease and reset daily.
  15. Good stuff! And you can't beat a mora knife.
  16. She's a bit of a looker alright! Not quite as stunning now's she's going grey in her sixth year. To be honest most Hancock lurchers have stunning eyes.
  17. Knew there was another kicking around so set the wire Tuesday, knocked most nights, set the bottom of the wire three inches off the grass last night in case it was bounding instead of sprinting because of the wet grass. There it was this morning, textbook, under the chin and half way back over the head. Goes to show sometimes you need to ring the changes.
  18. Jeeze it doesn't get any better on here does it? No wonder most of us full timers who actually do it not dream about it from behind the pc left years ago, rarely looking back in. I'm surprised Phil still bothers. Talking of Phil! The gentleman from maff? Wouldn't happen to be the same man tasked with sorting out the coypu up in the fenns by any chance?
  19. Where's the homer Simpson drooling emoji when you need one. Looks fantastic.
  20. Several times on bad infestation jobs where the customer won't keep paying for fogging we've used efk,s with timers on to come on for two hours after dark. Easy enough to rig up a bin with liner underneath.
