    Write a polite letter back Stating that in order to be engaged in poaching you would need to be trespassing on private land engaged in chasing game .As your vehicle was in a designated public car park and walking on a designated public footpath you were exercising your dogs as per your right, the breed has no bearing, also as your dogs are not a banned breed then you are not in breach of any law or bye law.     Robin hood considering you have worked or do work around 37 greyhounds you don't know a lot about dogs that live in a domestic environment, which greyhound kennels are not. I have been around hunting dogs all my life literally and certainly wouldn't be afraid to train any dog but I would always be concerned about aggressive behaviour . I being the pack leader will take a dogs bowl and food of it anytime I wanted to, otherwise a dog running and catching game will be reluctant to release it if it is food aggressive but I suppose a man of your experience would know all this basic stuff.

    Feed him in a room but you remain with him,. put the bowl down and while he is eating it push the bowl with your foot he wont bother with you then get him use to you picking up his bowl while he is eating, only for a few seconds and then put it down and let him finish his food don't let any one else do it only you once he realises you are not taking his food away and if you do, it comes back quickly he will begin to feel less food aggressive. Where kids are concerned or in fact anyone in the house the dog cannot be allowed to show any kind of aggression,no matter what the reason is behind it.

    heat rises though a timber bed is not a good conductor of heat once it heats the heat permeates all round a lot cheaper than heat lamps to run and lasts for years. I use tubular heaters when the frost starts on a timer , the slightly more expensive ones have a frost detector that automatically puts them on at a specific tempreture I hve the same ones for the last 5 years

    breed from the right stock put good grub into the bitch and then give the pups plenty of good grub from 3 weeks to supplement the bitches milk. Once they get the taste for meat they will wean themselves. Make sure no parasites and worm them properly and pups should be as strong as lions. pups look well atb

    the tubular green house heaters are cheap on ebay ,water proof generate some heat a 65 watt one costs the same to run as a 65 watt light bulb so cheap on the bills if you screw it under the bed just put a piece of chicken mesh over it, they are metal encased just keep the flex out of the way or run it through 15mm copper pipe and clip it to the underside of the bed

    put a raised wooden bed in for them get a 65w greenhouse tube heater screw it on the underside of the bed job done you can even plug it into a time switch so it will come on at set times
