  1. . Birds bred fa performance such has pigeons are a good learning curve for learns one the basics about producers of good fliers short sprinters distance birds etc . Of course it's the same for livestock great producers can quite often be mediocre there sells where great animals can't give thee nothing finding the producer his the key to all good livestock hence line bred types one can get both decent above average workers and good above average producers Breeding anything else ta me f1three quarters out xes are just that atb bunnys. It took me a while to interpret that Bill, only then did i
  2. You seem to have answered your question.
  3. Seagulls have more protection than Geese.Tried eating a gull once, tasted worse than a Shellduck.
  4. If you mugged a granny id inform the plod,if you nonced a kid id phone the plod,if you burgled my house id feel sorry for you and if you had the audacity that many of us started out with and poached someones permission id respect you for giving the mutts their exercise and id not phone the plod. You sir are a turd and not a grey one.If after finding you to be a grass folk still wish to keep company with you id be ashamed of them.
  5. There are only 2 things i find more repulsive than a grass,1 another grass 2 a fecking nonce.Any right minded soul with a lurcher or a terrier should think long and hard about keeping company with your sort.
  6. The amount of pups that are churned out of the Hancock establishment and its a given that some of them will make for more than useful lurchers and they may come to prominence, the other 90% of shite will not.
  7. I have permission that i hold dear and know folk without permission walk it.Its how i started and will finish and its the way it should be.I don,t begrudge anybody working their mutts, even on my permission,as long as they respect the land and landowners property thats all that matters.Getting plod involved is inexcusable and as no place in the pursuit of lurchers and terriers, shooting folk its expected, the average lurcher and terrier soul would never sink to those levels, the ones that do want to take an harsh look in a big mirror.
  8. I used to frequent ground that was known to hold the odd Canada goose, especially in moult when they were known to be fatter and tastier, the mutt retrieved an emperor goose from the side of the Wharfe a few years ago,its regal status,in the oven, was not evident without its feathered attire.which century are you from morton you speak like your from the 18th century have you been teleported from past times?pmsl I know I can never understand the shit he writes lol like reading f***ing Shakespeare "all that glistens is not gold".
  9. He is 24tts just now pal 19 weeks old 3/4 grey 1/4 deerhound Dave platt and joe Woolley bred him from a blue Maldeese Irish coursing greyhound bitch. Serious build to her just don't do what i done, let him do a single handed fox at 6 months.my mates got one the same way bred.she finished at 27 1/2'' and is a spiteful bitch working.i've had 4 off platts and had plenty of fun with them daytime and night.whats your game.?pm if you want. A fox with a 6 month old pup or a fox encountered 6 months ago?
  10. Thousands of geese are shot, many maimed to suffer a lingering death, pursue the odd un with a dog and ill guarantee there is a law to bring the dog owner to task.
  11. For that amount of brass it would need to be attractive to a careless wallet or be SS bred.
  12. You soiled your y-fronts with the mutt beheading a fowl, don,t ever let them muller a worthier fur clad adversary, you will stink the fecking town out .

  14. I thought Russels never walked .
  15. Im possibly in the top 1% of folk that want a Deerhoundy influenced lurcher and id not wish for more than a quarter in the mix,i like the dogs to pan out at 28" and the bitches an inch less. The better working Deerhoundy,s around now are usually better working influenced with whats also in the mix, especially Greyhound and cur and i believe this combo is a truer reflection of the Deerhounds of olde than the oversized KC dross that reflects poorly on the breeds true work ethos now.
  16. As the majority of workers are bred the same now its not a surprise when the minority of litters make the grade.
  17. There is a lineage of very good black digging terriers in my vicinity that are bred from a Russel dam.Over the resultant generations the odd white un that as cropped up was often deaf,as the average black terrier is dumber than mud and often turns deaf is the Russel influence to blame?.
  18. This time last year you may enquired for a Beddy stud,at last you have seen the light. Nope, this day last year this is the thread I started. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/355682-new-pup/ My missus,in our early ardent years, looked far better than any dog i owned, the fat ugly cow let herself go.
  19. The taller they get the more working useless many of them become, its a KC thing. even a male at 31'' can catch lamped rabbits and daytime roe and hares.all this was pre ban. My mate owned one that panned out at 34" and caused a little anxiety in the Dales bunny populace, striving for anything more than a rodent became the jukels downfall. The better working bred uns that panned out at many an inch less where often the reason many of us became Deerhoundy orientated and excitable.

  21. No thanks, their coats are too hard to wash and dry properly. Ohh my bad, i thought ye wanted grafters... The people that really? want a grafter would do well to throw away the rose tinted lenses and see what is the most suitable stud about,i know of a terrier thats heavily Beddy influenced that would put an awful lot of working studs to shame, how many terriermen would throw away their prejudice to use such a mutt?,answers on the back of fleas arse please.
