  2. I'll give you £10 for a pair and you can drop them off
  3. every evening u will check traps and snares morning is better This time of year, I'd be checking them at least morning and night....
  4. Just an observation but them moles look to be caught "well back" Try adjusting the trigger pins this should help with your catch rate and help stop the "fills".

    Opinel

Found this site some cracking knifes on it. http://michel.montlahuc.free.fr/rob.htm
  6. An old blackbird or songthrush nest with a few quail eggs in side would be deadly
  7. Get them wires up mate all this four finger high stuff is bollocks you want them at around 6 inch on open runs even higher if the grass is long.
  8. That pic is a cracker mate hope it made it to adulthood. I've had fallow like that but never a roe my guess would be it would make a cream as an adult.
  9. these ant laying hens mate these are from fighting strain how can you free frange these kind of birds this is very young on here ant got hes cock head yet thats why hes pale mate Not hard to do right by your birds just takes a bit of time and effort thats all. But we all know certain types of people aren't in it for the long haul and don't like the work involved. To grow into a healthy fit adult bird they must have plenty of exercise and sun on there backs as youngsters FACT!!!!!!!
  10. You can buy a hell of alot of steel wire for £100
  11. At a guess i would say a hell of alot more than YOU think
  12. Top job fella....................... the lawn isn't looking to bad either
  13. probably be there as usual it's a good little show
  14. at £6 a pack i'd rather buy flubenvet........ That might work out cheaper for your little toy's but some of us have proper sizes fowl......... Joking aside if you have a lot of birds to worm try eprinex it is very good and a bottle will last you ages that's what i use.It also help get rid of mites and other bugs that like to live on your poultry.
  15. Best incubator by far in a mother hen....................................But if you want to use a machine brinsea have a extencive range with a size to suit everyone IMO.
  16. Very nice pic he is in top condition the black is off his beak. Is he a captive bird as his legs are very lightly colored??
  17. My birds would kill and eat mice if they could catch them. They probably kill about half a dozen rats every year and when the young sparrows are about they are not safe either.
  18. Buy yourself a cheap opinel or something similar for the job if you don't want to use your buck knife. I use a Buck bantam for all my hunting and have done deer up to the size of large fallow with no damage to the blade so can't see a problem. Or the need for a saw unless you have a disability of some sort.
  19. Snap the filter off a cigarette and slide down the birds throat in to it's crop this will get rid of the worms no problem.
  20. Glad you got your dog back mate But imo another case of the B&F turning a bad job in to a nightmare they never bring you in on the dog on steep bankings
  21. The land owners were sick of the amount of people turning up uninvited FACT.
  22. Nearly happened to us today but luckaly we got the dog in time. It is worse on steep banks the number of times we have missed the dog is stupid but as has been said it beats the old grey box.
  23. Warren a top fella and his dogs are always trained to a very high standard. Hope to get a day out with them over the festive period
