  3. Anyone on here repair ferret finders mk1 and mk2? Thanks in advance.
  4. As said above mate...good advice. How high do you need it to jump?? Look at the plus point. She is using her brain....I would rather my dog use his noggin and try go under, round or through if it can.
  5. I think you are going to need a voice for each region or area. Then them voices meet up to put ideas and thoughts across aswell as numbers from their region etc.If it comes off you can't have a couple of thousands people all trying to communicate to one person. Spot on gaz area reps are what's needed .... I am more than happy to cover the south as I am based in WiltshireArea reps are a good idea. Each area/county will need identical committee set ups. All members pass on their thoughts to their respective rep and he feeds to CA with all other area reps. Meetings don't achieve anything without

  8. Out of interest what are people paying for their green tripe??
  9. I feed raw green tripe most days. Never had a problem with worms. I get 2 or 3 tripe at a time and cut it up into smaller pieces, freeze and defrost in bucket o water as required. I wash it through first and have a quick check as I have found plastic etc stuck in the lining that the cow must have eaten.

  12. I hope you caught a bass this time?!? Lol Ha certainly did mate. Tbh I haven't caught another 'Mass' since!!
  13. Good couple of hours mate and like you say good to get out with a decent bunch
  14. Glad you enjoyed matty. Cracking fish we had there. Kev will prob do a write up. With pics etc. good to meet you.
  15. Nice. Big strong type so worth getting it in as early as possible with all stock. ATB with it.
  16. As said if you don't know any farmers then use public footpaths and a long line to start with. Walking up to a fence or gate is good to start with but it still provides a barrier and the dog will act totally different when it's on open ground. Sometimes you got to make a trip out in the car to find somewhere suitable but like you say it's a must!! What pup you got?
  17. Deer dogs any chance of putting some picks up of your dogs?? Would like to see the deerhound grey x collie greys. ATB
  18. Give snifferboy a shout mate. He's got a litter planned 1/4 beddy 3/4 whippet
  19. Yeah its bad timing but I have another dog, so long as I can keep it injury free... And it does work out quite well as the pups would be a good year old for the following season, so in that respect it works out quite well... When's the perfect time!! Like you say mate the pups will be good for the next season so that's a plus point when people are looking for a pup. It's only one season out for the bitch. She's had a few under her belt and plenty more to come!!
  20. I bike to work twice a week with mine. It's about 4 miles with a split of roads an tracks. He will trot to the side of the bike fine. The rest is daily walks and mooch out with other dogs so they can have a good run. Try to get them swimming when out walking too. ATB
  21. Depends on how well you know the farmer!!! If I'm round my mates farm he's ok with the pup showing a bit of interest if he's off the lead to begin with whilst he's learning. If it's on public footpaths with stock in the fields then I use a long lead. It's good to get them in there as much as possible.
