    Cameron loves being out and about with the dogs....she's a wee trooper and can walk some fair distances....at her own pace... Hoping to get her ferreting for an hour one morning this week.....she'll love that..... im sure she will ... Growing up my dad had pigs , goats , geese, ducks , hens horses ..you name it ..spent a lot of time with him outside or saturdays doncaster livestock market etc great memories ....kids need more than school and tv's / computers in my opinion its same rules with dogs and kids ...put the time and effort in and reap the rewards in future ...happy hunting atb

    totally agree Colin ...hard work for the terriers but my mates russell x plummer always seems to nail 1 or 2 in cover , she never lets him down . Gwen got a good nose aswell ..she marks up and finds anything dead before rolling in it and fetching it to me ...half eaten rats, stoat , hedgehog rabbit ...iv had em all lol .She nearly copped a pheasant today ah well she'll get a few in future im sure ...     yeah i like daytime walks with the terriers . To be honest my border isn't much good but we had four terriers today ..two good ens and two that join in when they feel like it ha ha ... Im going to remember the camera one day .Thanks for comments atb

    It is good watching them work the cover ...good craic and steady away for the pup as owt that bolts usually re- enters fast so it's non stop ..

    had 2 early finishes from work this week so headed out with Gwen my lurcher and border terrier ....mates got 3 russells so we hit the hedgerows, dykes just local . terriers seemed to be on fire as they worked the thick cover plenty rabbits about but not bolting really but great to watch and to see the reaction of Gwen following the terriers up and down the cover. She isn't shy on getting stuck in either ..behaved really well and is putting herself in the right places . didn't take the camera out but took a couple with the phone and then a pic when we got home today...just managed the one that
