good video, one tip I would say is, when a rabbit bolts into the net and your necking/untangling and re fitting net, stick your foot in the rabbit hole first, saves loosing a 2nd rabbit from an un netted hole

yet couldn't be bothered to research the law on trapping??? A web cam checking traps twice a day; particularly something like a squirrel trap in a customer’s loft, is a great idea. I’d also be very interested to find out if that’s actually legal. we tend to use the customer as our webcam, although we visit every 24hrs, if the customer hears the "clunk" of a door, they phone us, although on saying that, we tend to use BB traps more than anything ok, technology catches up with everything, but do we really want it, at the moment I can justify the price of say, trapping a fo

Wanted Rabbit Shooting Permission In Beds/herts/northants/bucks
stubby replied to Pigrenok's topic in Rabbit Shooting
as you say, it COULD be picked up by a search engine, but as most people tend to get an idea of a person within the first few lines they have written, perhaps you should include more about yourself, perhaps age? what type of insurance you hold, any shooting certificates you have etc, your availability, weekends/weekdays own transport/need to catch a bus/ etc -
perhaps it was the checking for hills that they wanted to pass on, depending on location, I would have worked out what it cost to visit the location and walk the grounds doing a visual check, inc petrol there and back, then quoted that as a monthly or weekly fee, with the addition of xxx amount per mole there after, some people like to get a rough idea of costs for their books

forget ethical, it's totally illegal....... as for the rest, it sounds like a load of crap maybe you should have named the post, foxes, as it seems that's what your after, there's lots of traps that we use that don't even need baits as for being more humane, I cant see how, as long as your following the guide lines, provide water and covered, and checked every 24hrs pref 12hr,

Wanted Pigeon decoying lessons with an airrifle
stubby replied to Craig Fosse's topic in Shooting Opportunities
having you describe the area your shooting, Id say go shoot squirrels, for two reasons 1st squirrels are classed as pests 100% of the time, you can shoot them whenever, so setting up a hide and feeding station within the trees will give you success and your perfectly legal 2nd, give up the pigeon shooting, as from what you describe, your in fact totally illegal at the moment, pigeons are not classed as pests all of the time, the general license allows us to shoot them in certain circumstances, reading your description, I cant see any of the conditions being met, saying "I didn't know" -
if using fenn traps you dont need to bait them, simply bury them on a rat run, the same as you would on a rabbit burrow, that way the rats neophobia does not kick in

I thought I was looking at a picture from call of duty ghosts

the dead rabbit works wonders, did these whilst laying under a tractor at 60yds

I have shot loads of cage caught foxes with a 410 shotgun, as your aiming straight down through the top of cage, about an inch from foxes skull, exiting shot if any, only goes into the grass, so you have no worries on that score, as stated a tarp over the cage and you and no one is the wiser, we have school opposite us too, have done it whilst neighbors are hanging out their washing, without them batting an eyelid to whats going on 10ft away, with a 4ft dividing fence my first application for a shotgun licence was purely for a 410 so I could carry out such work, and the FAO was in full agreem

I only once took a paid ferreting job, a lady called me who lived around 60 miles away that had been recommended me by a friend of a friend, offered £60 to ferret her garden, at the end of the day, we had worked the ferts hard in every boundary warren in her garden, and had FOUR RABBITS to show for it, we told her at the start that lamping would be the better option, as her garden was in the middle of no where, and rabbits were coming in from the surrounding area, give her her dues she still paid us, but you could tell she weren't happy, especially when I said the local butcher was selling rab

I have both the o/u and sxs in the yildiz 410, bought both from new and doubt I'll ever part with them, great little guns for using in our woodland, and good to get the kids used to them my mate made this short film of one of our work parties, forward to 3 minutes to see the o/u in use

That directed at me? Sweet. Now, clever boy; Quote the post where I said I was " proffessiomal " anything. Go on. Show the world! Re read the post sorry miss read But still i only asked a question Whys it all kicked off Your going ott over nothing because your wanting to mix an unknown poison because you want to use an unknown poison to you because your not a certified pest controller because when some try to offer advice (be it a little tongue in cheek), its thrown back at them in their face most councils will do rats for free, but only after seeing evidence of them, no

sits back with a bag of popcorn, lol

it maybe a shed, and have a porch and decking, but its still on wheels, making it a caravan on a caravan site, not alot the council could do

why is there a need to zero a scope on every session? I have both air rifles and .22 rimfires, they get setup when new, and I would only ever check again, if I started getting consistent misses, they stay bang on 60yds all the time, and the rimmys get thrown about a bit I'm not trying to say cheap scopes are at fault, as all my scopes are cheap, just wondering why some need to do all the time when others don't

Im using 3 kania traps in my woods, so far have caught four, 2 males,2 females, not seen anymore for at least two weeks, and the bird feeders have stopped being chewed, but hopeful more will move into the now empty territory

I too have worked only hobs in the past, sometimes you need to put a few down as they are slower, but the rabbits dont half run when they see them

Looking For Abit Of Land To Do A Bit Of Air Gun Shooting
stubby replied to cannylad's topic in Airgun Hunting
it always amazes me when we get these type posts asking for permission on a plate, we try to give an honest explanation on how to do it, and to add info to ones profile, now the opening poster was on the forum yesterday, so obviously looked at this post, but failed to leave a reply, or add any info to there profile, a few times on here and another pigeon shooting forum, I've remarked on such posts that I do have areas that others could shoot, you then get hundreds of begging pm's, but still profiles are not filled in, its as though they want to be seen as trustworthy, without letting on -
so those zombies are going to wait for you to re load your zupped up air rifle, fiddling with your pellets, rather than keep coming for you... wake up, open curtains, zombies everywhere, now heres the way to make your 12ftlb more powerful,...... grab it by the barrel, and whack those zombies round the head with the butt,
