  4. you need to have somewhere to host your pictures, then you can copy the url into you photo box etc, a good one Ive used is photobucket if/once you became a donator, rather than just a member, you then get the ability to upload pictures direct from your computer
  5. dont ya just love BRB's slyness
  6. not having played online on the PS3, but they guy I got my xbox from sold it so he could go on PS3 with his mates, within a month he was asking to buy the xbox back, as, in his words, it was better, and have since heard a few others say it too
  7. have been getting the ball rolling to apply for my FAC, as an "open" ticket, straight away, without having permission to shoot anywhere, purely from letters from my employer, saying that my holding a FAC will get me "up the corperate ladder" as we have rabbit and fox control on different depots/locations throughout the year but after chatting to a few people, I know that having "permission" would hopefully seal the deal, well I got chatting with a guy at our local country fayre, whose the manager of a large establishment within essex, that runs, functions, weddings etc, its a 12 achre plot
  8. so get some user names up, lets get a THL clan up and running eastlondonbiker

  10. well, its now situated on the canopy roof of the station, its only been there 24hrs, and Ive not left it fixed open, but ready set and baited, Im hoping londons greedy feral pidgeons wont need to get used to it, although from a thursday night to sunday night, it will have the access doors fixed in the open position, as we dont work these nights, so hopefully this will give the birds the "free meal" they need to start using it only downside, before this was installed you would see 60-70 roosting pidgeons, on the night we set it up, none
  11. times have changed, I for one think the line ferret should be left in the past, what YOU AS A HUNTER, have to ask yourself, is do you respect your quarry any ferret that kills/injures underground should in my eye's, be dug to, not only to retreave your ferret, but more so, to retreave the rabbit, and if need be humanely dispatch it, if your not too worried about leaving injured rabbits to die/suffer underground, then ignore this reply
  12. I can understand a new ferreter itching to get out and catch rabbits, and also understand that money can be tight to start with buying ferret finders, equipment etc, but please do not use a line on a jill, just think to yourself the twists and turns, tree roots etc in a rabbits warren, think of any ferret with a line tied to it, maybe 200yds of line underground, with you on the end of it, trying to pull a ferret out it would be a bit like the old tom and jerry cartoon of pulling a cat through a "knot hole" but in your case it would'ent be funny if you cant wait and save up for a locator, t
  13. I bought one last year, for the money ya cant complain
  14. it was only offline for 24hrs on monday have you not got an msn account and password, as thats all it needs, it dont have to be your parents one once you get online, I hope you'vre got "call of duty 4"
  15. cracking pictures mate, nice to see the whole family
  16. funny, this aint got anything to do with ferrets Ill put it in the correct section shall I
  17. that makes my 8x4 sheets of galvenised 2"x2" at £10 a sheet sound the best offer yet
  18. Ianb put a picture up of the new ones, but I cant find it anywhere, but the larger of the two was for terriers, the ferret one looked simular to the one already in use, barring leather instead of nylon web
  19. if your catching numbers of rabbits, then gut in the field, putting the guts down a fresh dug out hole, but dont skin, otherwise you'll pick up all manner of shit on the skin, I freeze mine with the skin on, if the tempreture is set right on the chest freezer, the fur stops them sticking together, as they would if placed in without their coat on
  20. cheers stubby i thought a basket was the bit at the bottom off the nets ie where the rabbits get caught up into if you no what i mean, cheer you any pics... thats sometimes referred to as the kill zone, or "the bag" as in bagging, a 50yd longnet would hopefully have 100yds of net on it, so when stretched out, its got "bag" in the net, a bit like your mums net curtains, also the height of the net, if stretched out would be about 4ft, but its set around 21" on the poles, giving "bag" in both directions

  22. I think you have answered it yourself, if lugging rabbits across a field, you'd gut them, but picked up in motor, or delivered, then as they come
  23. see the wires with the blue tops, they are bobwires, hung from top, not fixed at bottom, with corn inside trap, pidgeons being hungary buggers, push to bobwires inwards as they walk in, but then cannot walk out again, simple put
