I would go for the two hobs option, if you get two kitt brothers, by the time they come into season, having lived together for best part of a year, there should be no fighting, ok they may become bum bandits for a month or two, but no expensive vet bills to start, if then in the future your mum falls in love with these giant teddy bears and allows you more space for hutches/court, you can get some jills, then look at getting one hob snipped and one castrated or left intact.
