urban, you mean town foxes well we live on the outskirts of a town, very large garden, the local "urban" fox came in a few months back, killed a duck and chicken , had it been to feed its young, I may have understood, but no, it ripped their throats out and left them laying there, up till that point, I had a liking for urban foxes, and although I knew they were hunted, never felt that way myself, even though Im a pestie, I say "WAS" as Im now 100% against foxes, wether they are urban or rurual, and they dont visit our garden as much now I can see your still a young lad, but after seein

there is no need what so ever to feed them whole rabbit, to get them good for ferreting, its a natural instinct, you'll know that ferrets love playing in tunnels, a warren is just one big play tunnel, ideally you want the ferret to bolt 100% of the rabbits, as this is the reason behind ferreting, so therefore a ferret that has never eaten or smelt a rabbit, will still flush rabbits, manc land is a long way from me, but if your ever down south, give us a shout

its obvious you havent watched the rallyscene dvd's, "the ultimate ratting" ones, as you can now get non petrol, non noisy smokers "the rat attack" as for dogs scenting better, they have far better noses than use, we may only smell petrol, and pig shit, but they smell rats too we will all have different opinions on this matter, so maybe best if we leave it at that, it can be seen by the posts, that some do, and some dont, I think ratting with ferrets is purely down to the individual

Just had a look at the link it say's you can even find your car and it will locate it to within a couple of inches! frickin heck you should'nt be driving should you if you have to locate your car to within a couple of inches??? unless you had parked it in a wood, and was off the beaten track poaching

not sure on dominant or reccessive, but knowing what each ferret was bred from helps to estimate the colours last years matings polecat to sandy, produced polecats, and one albino, the polecat mum was bred from a silver to albino parents silver to sandy, produced all very dark polecats, again the silver mum came from silver to albino parents silver to polecat(bred from silver to albino) produced large amounts albino and a few silvers, the sandy was new blood, so didnt know the parentage

save "popping" the keys out, simply turn upside down and take the screws out, give it all a wipe over with a damp cloth, and put back together, have done ours loads of times

they dont, a mk1 locator can detect mk3 collars, but mk3 locators car'nt detect mk1 collars if you aint read stealthys post, read it, it'll explain how to use the mk3
