my pup has knocked my air rifle (brocock independent ) over snapping the rear sights! ive been to gun shops and even phoned brocock who doesnt make them or stock them anymore, anyone know where i could hold of one please

i worked for a company that made bars for pubs and stools tables etc, when using pine or any soft grain wood they would use a blow torch lightly over the timber, the soft part of the grain would go black and the hard part would stay light! but it still had to be given a finishing coat of something! it also gives it that rough feeling where the grain is up and down have a go on some scrap timber (4x2 planed or similar) youll be amazed how easy it is trapper25

i,ve just had my licence back for a .22 rimfire what would be the best set up im looking for something quiet, already have a cz american 17 hmr which is an great rifle but need something a bit quieter for certain jobs! so any info on rifles, moderaters and ammo keeping sound reduction in mind would be greatly appreciated! trapper
