  1. who says nun's wear knicker's, that one of mine takes some serious abuse, and never faulters I change the seal/ Oring every 12 months or so, fires everything from BB'S down to my favourite 29 gram no 6's
  2. The young lad from the farm caught this one
  3. Glad you sorted it. It's one of life's mysteries. You could buy an identical gun and it needs oiling and won't work dry. its funny I have a hatsan escort also, people seem to knock them, and I can't fault it, it never fails to cycle I have stripped and cleaned that in detail, very forgiving gun, but this fabarm is short barrelled, and a magic gun to have in a Hyde, but it clearly doesn't like oil,
  4. Well it seems sorted' it's cycling 29 gram shells ok now I followed walshie's tip, and dried it out, I then very lightly oiled the cocking latch, as it seemed stiff, I won't be strip cleaning it again in a hurry, if it's not broken it doesn't need fixing,
  5. gass ports are spotless, I wish I hadn't cleaned it now, it will be something and nothing, I hope, as I like the gun.
  6. cheers I will re-strip and clean it tonight,
  7. Dave the mag seem's fine I will do it, it seems to shudder when it goes off, almost like the action isn't releasing, it is intermittent, and was spot on till I cleaned it,
  8. I thought I would ask if any one can give me a help, I have a fabarm eurolion,it has been a good gun with no issues, no mater what cartridge's used, anyway I decided to give it a clean, and since then it has intermittently failed to cycle, it feels like the action is sticking rather than cartridge issues, can anyone give me any pointers on the issue, the gun is like new inside, and I am sure it's something and nothing,
  9. I just use a narrow spade, then tidy up with a trowel, I have thought about one of them hori knives, my next buy may be knee pads,
  10. It's a shame there's no market for them over here, they look good mate,
  11. nobody told me that about omeprazole,
  12. They need controlling hard, and it's about time the government removed the protection, and let the country side manage them like the fox, they decimate ground nesting birds, and everything else's, they get hold of, the problems huge, latrines dug all over the place, full of shit no doubt infested with TB, fields pitted with badger digs, the next problem if that's not enough, is the otters, there ballooning in numbers, terriers will be dropping on them hand over fist soon, what happens then, cos they will hole any where, and a accidental encounter is a real possibility,
  13. I wouldn't put owt past the T**Ts, would love to catch them,
  14. TerryD is right they are everywhere, there numbers seem to have balloooned over last two years, mild winters I think, I stick the trail camera up,and watch the spot a couple of days, that will give you a good idea what's around, help you make an informed decision, you could always use the pictures as evidence, should the worst happen,
  15. Hiatus hernia Thats what I have, but like said above I have changed my diet, and cut my omeprazole tablets back to one every other day, and as far as heart burn, or the symptom's of it I seem sorted, but still belching and farting like a trooper, I am in doctors today, bloody marvellous, if it's not one thing it's another, I got to 45 and never suffered anything, now I am over 50 they might as well reserve a bloody chair for me,
  16. sit back and enjoy, its better than watching Dallas, you can't believe anything,
  17. You wouldn't credit that could get over that ..unbelievable. it just shows nature will find a way, it's amazing it didn't get peritonitis, or some other nasty infection, and to top that it avoided predators, fare play/ respect to it
  18. Lovely little guns, it's the first thing I grab now in the cabinet, can't go far wrong with one
  19. thats a good end to a day, couple of deer, a follow up from a good dog, all that's needed then is a couple of beers,
