  1. Would you put her staying in empty places down to been worked with hounds and always been dropped in and something there and she just always taught when she was dropped in ther was automatically something there. My mate had a dog like that was spot on the first season. Then he started using him with the hounds for a season or 2. After that you couldn’t put him in an empty place would spend hours in it. He was a very good dog otherwise but I couldn’t stick that. It took him 2 seasons before before he stopped messing about and went back to normal and not bollocking in empty places only for him t

  10. I 100% agree there I no lads that have yards full of working dogs but not a decent bitch in the yard. You have nothing without a decent bitch. I also no lads with a yard of scatter bred dogs and bitches and have lots of waste each year. Family breeding is the way to go and the less outcrossing the better but that’s just my taught. I no they will have to be out crossed some time but only when needs be

  14. Was out last Thursday with 3 mate from down the country. the morning was testing with blank after blank and then we had 3 good digs in a row. Two 6fts and a 2 ft. A very good dig to my mates second season dog. Then dug my old dog in a big place under a tree at just shy of 6ft. Then on to an easy place and dug one of the lads bitches. All in all we had a decent day and had a few pups out for the first time to learn there trade
  15. There was a black one up the road from me years ago. He used to be up and gone the minute the light came on. Myself and the lad I lamped with we’re trying for over a year to catch him and my dogs eventually go him after many escapes. There was a crow I used to see regularly and I walking out the hounds last year thst was half white . And a mate of mines father has a stuffed cream colored crow.
