    There’s a girl up the road from me has a bitch. First litter they were gone in the first day of advertising. She bred her again this year and advertised them 2 months ago and last I herd she still had one left. The arse has fell out of them now

    Does anyone work hound cross greyhound. I haven’t had lurchers in years as there just isn’t the work around to justify keeping one now but if I was to get one again the thoughts of a foxhound/Welsh cross or the likes would be something that appeals to me. Is there anyone running that cross

    Have been out 4 or 5 times over the last 3 weeks out early and dig one or two and home before it gets to warm. All the pups have been out and pegged out so hopefully get something handy for them over the next few weeks

    Thanks sbd had the black dog out this morning for the first time real happy with him still a bit young but we will go slow and steady with him

    Same dog different bitch this time round. There solid alright but just a bit shorter in the leg

    Thanks Apache for some reason this litter is a little bit on the small side compared to other pups from the same line and normally they have better heads.

    I would think you would have to use a wild buck she a pet doe I’d imagen a wild doe wouldn’t rear the young in captivity. Well that was out taught anyway

    We were going to do that to we started building cages in a shed and that was never finished

    I did that 6/7 years back I ferreted rabbits from 4 or 5 different places. It was late February when we did it we let of about 40 and we were hoping that some were pregnant at that time we put them all into an old warren and left them be. Still never made a difference not one where we left them of now

    I used to love a night out with the lurchers but the way things are now I can never justify keeping another they just wouldn’t get the work

    And it wasn’t mixi that done them either they had it every summer and it would take a few but whatever they got wiped them out

    Where I live used to be crawling with rabbits. The field behind my house used to have a 15 yard ring all around the headlands come silage time it was like a golf course. Now you could walk every inch of the place all day every day and never see a rabbit. They all disappear in 2 years it went from thousands of rabbits to nothing. Any idea what would have caused this. We used to be able to catch 20 rabbits a night and 5 nights a week and never leave a dent in them. They disappeared 7 or 8 years ago and we all taught they would be back as good as ever in 2 years time but it never happened

    I’d no choice but stick it out my usual digging partner was working and the other lad that does a bit with me only lives 2 minutes from now this place and he was in tramore for the weekend

    That was Saturday morning. It was the last thing I wanted this place I’ve dug 30 plus times and 4ft was the max. It’s always the same when your on your own

    And 8ft yesterday and I out on my own. Couldn’t believe the box when it said 8ft never seen this place go over 4ft in the 10+ years I’ve been doing this place. The ground was like concrete from start to finish

    I’ve a banged up pickup, 6 terrierbox, whatever’s cheap to wear no matter what I wear hunting they don’t last long. €50 hair boots of eBay. But I do have a sharptooth ??
