  3. That’s it I have a list of friend the length of my arm with terriers that would help me out but lurchers is a different story I’m not in the known when it comes to lurchers. And I’d be f****d if I was going to buy someone’s else’s rubbish of DoneDeal
  4. The parents seem exactly what I like in a lurcher so hopefully the pups turn out the same. Fair play Derry lad
  5. I got sorted lads fair play to Derry lad he’s gifted me a pup and I’ll have it in a week or 2
  6. I no it’s a long shot but would anyone have any well bred foxing pup or plan on breeding any. I no it’s a long shot. I haven’t had a lurcher in about 10 years because of the lack of rabbits around me. The pup will be reared with the best and want for nothing and will not be passed from pillar to post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Preferably something without Saluki blood in it
  7. My idea of torture. Go of with the dogs for a bit of peace and quiet. ??
  8. That’s exactly what our ground is like. It’s always in the Jeep but only brought in as we need it
  9. I’ve been in different places around the country and the sharptooth worked grand it’s just the land I work it’s no real advantage to me
  10. I just find the heavy graft far better than the sharptooth in the ground I work. There’s only one or 2 places we dig that the sharptooth performs better than the graft
  11. I no what ur saying but I just reckon they would shift a lot more ground a lot quicker than the sharptooth. Personally I don’t like the sharptooth if I broke mine in the morning I wouldn’t buy a new one
  12. I’d be the same heavy graft all day before the sharptooth.has anyone put a heavy onto the sharptooth. I’m thinking of cutting mine and doing it
  13. That’s what I use all the time I wouldn’t go without one. Heavy to carry but definitely saves time when digging
  14. Try Aaron on here he’s down a bit in the page. Only new at it but is a nice lad
  15. Good stuff for the pup. Pity there’s not more story’s of lads days out put up on here
  16. Aaron is a top lad I most certainly wouldn’t pass him if I wanted a dog moved
  17. No was very slow walked for 3 or 4 hours before they found
  18. It was my first time following them
  19. I had a bitch she was No good. I think there’s only another dog and butch in it to try but there seemingly showing the right signs to so far
  20. 16 or 17 months I’d say he was to young for the end of last season
  21. Another young dog started of that bitch I was talking to you about. Not my dog but he didn’t put a foot wrong for his first outing. A nice easy 2ft
  22. My mates dog would have been the same rarely walked and never left of the lead as he would f**k off the minute he was let of. I’d say between that and constantly been put in places that hounds had marked both had something to do with him staying to ground. The worst thing about itwas he was a very capable dog and the type anyone would like in their yard apart for the messing thing. He stopped working him with hounds and he slowly but surely was stopping the messing.
