    He'll love it mate. Mine are 10yrs and 7 yrs and have been coming for a couple of years. They both talk to their mum and mates about "breaking their necks" even though they haven't done it yet. The funniest one yet though, was when I got asked to have a meeting with the young ones teacher, because he kept telling the other kids he had been "hunting rabbits and breaking their necks", and took an old teddy into school to show them how to do it! I had to remain ADULT, but really wanted to p**s myself laughing!!. Seriously though, I give them a little more responsibilty each time. I started off

    I use Bulldog version of this.

    I use a Bulldog round mouth spade, with boot lips, but that suits me for what I need. It really is each to there own, the type of soil etc. A wide spade. for example may not be as useful if digging amongst tree roots etc.

    I seem to not get quite so many. I start off at 9 meshes, working out to 15 meshes wide, then back to 9, and 21 meshes long. (3ft 6") I only get about a dozen, with a little spare at the end. I use spun poly, but double knot, dont know if this makes a difference.

    I don't know any of you personally, but I am up for anyone, who looks after and makes this a good site, so that not only I can come for advice but my kids can read as well.

    Not big enough to defend themselves at 12 weeks, in my opinion. A rear kick off a big buck rabbit could fecking ruin them. Leave them till at least 16 weeks.

    Inspired by Kittlerox's pictures of Oban, I thought I would put some up of Ardnamurchan, a place close to my heart, and somewhere I really enjoy my trout and sea trout fishing. Technically they are just snap shots, and not in the same league as Kay's, but enjoy them. I will stick a couple of other ones up in a bit. Don't know what its like for hunting, and ground no good for running dogs, but if your into your Red Deer, game fishing or photography, what a place!

    Yes mate, a Panasonic, trouble is you have to keep putting it down when dealing with bunnies and nets etc. I also have a dead cheap helmet cam somebody gave me that take much poorer quality video, but I have no clips to attach it to me. I'll have to make something if I decide to do some more.

    We should all still be using muskets as well, none of these new fangled shotguns thaqt have self contained ammunition!! Seriously though, traditions are nice to see!
