  2. Nice bit of craic.. Its been said, that you have to go to OZ, to get any decent Cattle dog anymore? Its the only place, that have them still working? Is your ones WR, from OZ? Thanks..
  3. And i bet there aint too many of them....... I think a better opinion is formed also when the same dog has been used on all six species. Kinda helps to evaluate the pro's and con's of each species . In the daytime i might add.....You can only really tell how a deer runs in the daytime. JMHO...JD Totally agree.
  4. Correct. Its important, that you mince it well first threw a good mincer. Feeding a good quality working complete, stops this from happening, but, if rabbits are minced raw, as well as chickens ect, it will be fine. Avoid big heavy weight baring bones, they will crack a dogs teeth. I know wild dogs wolfs ect eat them all the time ect, but a lot die in the wild too, far more then dogs that are fed properly. Utter bollocks! Edited to add, the bit about weight bearing bones is correct the rest is anti-raw properganda Enough of the abuse, just pointing out a fact, from pas

  11. Good post. That about sums up the hunting for the irish hare over here in Ireland. No easy and not many lads that come over from uk ect, can get them with their dogs in the winter. If you thought it was hard in the north of Ireland, you should see some of the land down south, night mare!

  15. Im sorry to say, from passed experience, their is no cure, once a shit eater, all ways a shit eater, just one of them things. I have in the passed tryd, pineapple, rock sulphur ect ect, nothing works.. Some pups do this a wee bit, but some, grow out of it, the out and out shit eaters eat any dog crap and still do when they have grown. Hound breeds, greyhounds, whippets gun dog breeds seem more prone to it. Im lucky, to have dogs that are not shit eaters at the moment. Not a good thing to have in a running dogs, about to go coursing or lamping and its stomach full of dog crap..
