Where would this end, if muslims through their faith choose not to, drink, take drugs, watch porn and gamble thats their decision and their free choice , because in this country we've still got a free choice ( to a degree), but what if in these few boroughs muslims are allowed sharia law, would we have public stonings in the future for adulterers , burgalars losing hands ( dog thieves beware). This country has laws which have been in force for hundreds of years, most for the good of the people, some a complete joke, this is a western country with western laws. As Mackem ,who is obviously wel

I hope the sick bast*rd gets everything he deserves once he's inside, scum of the earth And what the f*ck's happening to the vetting system to get a job looking after kids, it wasn't that long ago those bunch of scumbags got done for the same thing in the nursery in Plymouth surely it can't keep happening.

Neither of my dogs would make me look hard a jack russel and a beddy whip, but they make me proud when they do well on the bunnies, whether lamping ( not the jack russel before I get slaughtered), ferreting or bushing, and hopefully in time the beddy whip could be an all round rabbiting dog not just a dog I take rabbiting, we'll see

What the hell is weak minded got to do with this...some of the most creative and artistic people in history have had a drug habit or dabbled in drugs. Apparently it helps the creative juices flow, addiction is a funny old thing it is no respecter of class, social status or gender. People being people will try or experiment with any type of drug and while the vast majority will grow out of it some dont come out the other side without some side effect and some don't make it at all. Drugs are rife in the music industry always been that way always will. "Drugs are rife in the music indus

If your slightly weak minded/ easily swayed and in that industry it is all to easy to fall into the trap. Yes she should never have started in the first place but I'm sure she knew that, once your on that slippery slope getting off it is harder than anything. We employed a lad a friend from years ago last year who had gone down that path, he was clean now and wanted a chance, he worked with us for around 4 mnths, but we were working away and would go to the pub most nights,. He ended up having to leave because he felt too tempted if he had a drink, he knew the signs and didn't want to slip

I don't know if they're regrets, but there's things that have happened in my life I wish hadn't, but your not always in a position to control or alter that anyway so you can't regret it. I've recently lost someone who was really close to me and I guess I regret not spending more time with him towards the end, it wasn't the way I wanted to remember him, so to see him in pain and wasting away was maybe to hard for me, I guess I regret how you take things, people, time for granted, it's human nature to think nothings gonna change and when it does it rocks you a bit and makes you sit back and re

I think she just couldn't fight her demons/addiction and the industry she was in does nothing to help people like her, as said surrounded by yes men and pretend friends coupled with her own obvious weakness was a recipe for disaster. I played in a band for a long time and we got to play a couple of festivals and a few quite big do's, one was at the bristol carling academy for an off shoot of a large record label I ended up in a hotel room with my band and my missus plus a few of the men who managed this label and a bloke who managed some of the big bands. There was a pile of coke on the table

Sorry to hear of your loss, RIP.

Me and my missus were pissing ourselves at that mate

Some good days there lads I got asked to do a mail mission for the anglers mail many years ago when I worked in our local tackle shop, it used to be a centre double page feature where you were set a task to catch a certain weight of fish in a few hours whilst they photographed you and you had to explain your tactics ect. I had been fishing the tidal Exe a lot back then catching a lot of dace and some quite big chub + bream, roach ect. The mission was to catch 10lb of fish I think in 4 hrs, I thought it would be mainly dace with maybe a bonus chub to boost the weight a bit, I had 5 chub al

Best type of rig for pollock of a boat?
NEWKID replied to ferreterjohn's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
If your fishing fairly shallow reefs all of the methods described by mattydski are good bets, if your fishing deep water wrecks i would advise 12-20lb tackle and a flying collar rig. Use a wire french boom, attach the french boom at the top with a swivel and use a paper clip twisted at the bottom to attach the lead ( this acts as a rotten bottom, you could use a piece of lighter line). use a snap swivel to attach the trace line, this needs to be at least 10-15ft long ( I use 40lb amnesia line as I find this never twists ) now attach your lure, redgills, jellies, firetails more recently sidewi -
Hi mate I'm similar to you came back into it after a long lay off, got myself a 3/4 whip 1/4 beddy and she's coming on fine. Only 13mnths old but had a few on the lamp and has worked with the ferrets. She's got a good nose on her and works well with my jack russel. I'm pleased with progress dead easy to own and an ideal rabbiting dog. Been out with a mates bull x, It's a cracking dog but in my opinion not something I would pick for rabbits, he catches them ok but it aint really his thing. That's the only on I've seen work though so others could probably give you more advice on them, we us

NEWKID replied to watchman's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Another one from when we were young and care free, I was around 15 and decided we were gonna ferret a hedge which backed onto a massive garden, I didn't know who's garden it was and to be honest i didn't think I was doing anything much wrong anyway. It was me my ever present younger brother and his little, fat, best mate paul. We set the nets and entered the ferret and within a minute one out in the net, we could hear more rumbling another out I was almost wetting myself thinking we had found ferreting nirvana. We were so transfixed on the rumbling burrow we hadn't noticed an old bloke with -

Some great stories lads best thread for ages Me and my brother used to go out with a good friend lamping on the weekends when we were kids, my bother would have been around 6 years old and basically a pain in the arse but made us laugh most times out. One night we were walking through an old lane between 2 fields and at the end of one of the fields there was a huge victorian type house which used to be an old mental hospital( called digbys if anyones from exeter they'd know it), it was a pretty eirie place in the day but at night it's shit yourself material. As we were walking along Phil -

Whereabouts in Truro mate, I'll try that next time i'm in town? Cheers, D. Shes not there all the time. I usually see her near that boat that was a flower shop or sometimes outside lloyds bank. Easy to notice as it's a stall of leaflets with a blonde hook nosed witch standing behind it. We re-roofed the TA centre in truro couple of years back, wish I had known about her it would have brightened up my dinner breaks no end And who the hell did the woman on the train think she was, she shouldn't of been such a nosey cow if she didn't want to get offended.

I'm like that mate I was getting on to my eldest girl a bit about school work, she's 12, first year of high school. I was on her case saying how important it is Blah, blah. The missus told me to lay off a bit, she picked up 2 awards for her work last week and got a glowing report, told the missus my nagging worked It's funny how you change fromn that care free bloke to a worrying parent without realising

The music industry gone to shit, they would rather promote them pair of annoying twats than do the hard work like years ago in finding talented musicians who could write a song and even play it live.....imagine Theres still loads of good bands about in the local pups and clubs but how deflating to bust your ass off for years for little reward whilst that pair of mongs earn 3 million quid a year by acting like dicks and singing out of tune. I aint in Jedwards fan club.......
