Me, done it with the kids a few times! Start off with one of these: Feed the greedy little fecker loads of fuchsia: Until it turns into one of these: Keep it in a cool and dark place for the winter, bring it out around may when it warms up & hey presto! Not a butterfly, but you get the idea! glad yours survived Mal, i killed mine somehow Done this as a kid also used to collect frog spawn and watch it turn into tadpoles then frogs then we'd let them go down the river...... I'm glad I wasn't addicted to computer games l

e Lol mate, I loved all the outside things and still do, the biggest worry is letting your kids go and have the freedom of years ago, you can't let them find out for themselves like we did, it just doesn't feel safe anymore. We were out at light and in at dark, no mobiles to check up...... I couldn't let my kids do that now unfortunately Things aren't really any worse now than they were then, its more that the perception is worse now than it was then. You maybe right mate, although I think the country has changed a lot in the last 20/25 years though....even down to some of the op

Good luck with this one gnasher, I don't know why but I'm a bit jealous of you.... A week of peace and quiet no phone, missus or kids sounds like heaven.....until you chuck in midges, hunger, cold lol...... I would personally take a telescopic rod and reel few spinners and hooks, you could dig a few worms and catch yourself a nice trout for tea.... Be a nice way to unwind after a days yomping sat by a loch having a fish ....and getting your head bit to pieces by midges..... Seriously good luck mate look forward to your posts once you've done it...

Nothing more than a bullying coward, people like him are the scum of the earth... In my eyes there is no excuse for hitting a woman( let alone gouging her eyes out wtf) I've seen the consequences and aftermath of domestic violence first hand and was in an environment where you see first hand the full effects it can have on a womans life.......I hope this excuse of a man gets all he deserves and more.... And I really hope this young woman can piece her life together and find some type of peace in the future....

Backwater... He wants a dog to do a bit of ratting with I would think a beddy whip which should cost around 150 quid would do the job just fine........ He's not looking for a dog which can run all quarry even on the big land..... Atb Kev

Drinking mad dog 20/20, white lightening, Thunderbirds behind the youth club, Pontins at Brean, Opal fruits, Marathons (snickers), using the dog to pull us on a skateboard, penny for the guy, setting fire to anything and everything............... thunderbirds not seen that for years is it still in production lol

Was talking about that only the other day, never see one nowadays. Wicker fishing baskets. Used to fish them on the canal for bream they we're cumbersome and awkward, but I loved them, nothing as good as a straight pull on the tip...... Very useful in tight swims when the rod was straight.... Mitchell match reels and Normark rods too....... bruce and walker still got my bruce & walker rods and my grice & young centre pins had a bit of fun floating crust last year with them Bruce and Walker is a bit far back for me....... but here's one of my old mitchell match
