  2. You can do what you like mate, all rules went out if the window once haymin floated past in a canoe lol
  3. Just talking to my brother about it and he wants to come this year, he also said we have some big oil drums in the yard, we'll cut them in half and fab up some stands that'll give us a few big drum barbies... I could look at making a spit too if a hog roast is on the cards we could do it over the drum barbie.... I'll get our fabricators to knock us up something if it helps.... Date.... What do you reckon john weekend of 23rd?.. Sorry Jai, just saw your post
  4. Dykos? Bobbyblackheart? hotmeat and his lad?

  7. It is on a weekend BPR, most people took Monday off though....
  8. Nobody is twisting your arm, if your that sick of it already dont come its that simple. Give a postcode out the week before, they get what there given What about the lads who want digs though, do they just hope that they can find somewhere in a week? If you get a camp site sorted no digs needed But not everybody wants to camp do they. You seemed to have thought of everything, perhaps you should organise it. Come on butty your biting too easy...
  9. It was the same last year Chris and took a bit of organising.. Bearing in mind, we had bait supplied, prizes donated, cups made, food and drink supplied by different lads... Leaving it until 1 week before and the. Organising it might not be ideal... Away from the organising it's a bit of banter, and the last thread was a decent Craic IMO...
  10. Chuck up some pics of tits, that'll liven it up....
  11. The way to sell it Jai, is it's a charity event, we can show we raised money last year, I could ask McMillan for a reference perhaps to help.... Although the charity is your choice this year lads, speaking with the charity and maybe organising with them could help with getting a camp site etc.. No worries on day tickets you'd expect that, but again some clubs will help for charity events
  12. Nice one mick... Where've you been? Oh and don't get to attached to those trophys mate...
  13. The problem is Jai, you'll be pulled all over as everyone wants something different... Choose the place, and where we'll camp etc... Those that don't want it won't come.. You can't please everyone mate... I'd say your looking at 30 or so camping and probably 20 fishing this year, that should be enough to let you and John sort a venue etc... Once you have let us all know where it is....
  14. Expect a busy phone when we're trying to find this place then mate... A secret location, on a need to know basis.... It's like finding the bat cave lol
  15. Converse!!! You'd need jims canoe to go lamping round here at the minute lol
  16. Haha.... Funnily enough that was the picture I head in my head John..
  17. Either or Bry, I'll take a van anyway, we'll sort it nearer the time...
  18. Cheers lads, That's Sean's border, Dave, cracking little dog... He saves me a bit of running lol
  19. Nice one Bry, if you come up to Exeter you can jump in with me...
  20. Has John gone slopy shouldered mate and passéd the buck lol.... If you can get us on the Wye great, that's the whole original idea, some camping around the river too would be great... As we found last year Jai, the lads that went made the event what it was, and as owain said its a bit of luck and a good Craic, Ffs he's got nearly £200's worth of rod to fish with this year.. Hahahaha...........We are the dynamic duo mun Kev, Jai's chairman of the organising committee and he's a bit "posh" so it helps when he talks to people. The dynamic duo eh... Like batman and robin.. Lol It'll be g

  22. i think if any of us fishing the next day had of been stopped and breath tested we`d of gone over i think we had our last pint 3 hours before setting off to fish and if i had`nt of fell off my camp bed i might of had another My worries exactly mate, I was adamant I was only having a couple the night before.... And end up sat in your van on the piss till stupid o'clock lol..... You falling off the bed was my que to leave lol
  23. Yes the original idea, thread and event was brought about by a few of us talking about old fashioned river match fishing.... Hence picking a river ( the Trent) and making the event work around that... It's been said enough times but it was a great do, and as good as we all could of hoped for........ But, the problem for Johnny here is logistics, the river is about 45 mins away from where he can get us camping, presentation etc... I guess it's a concern having to drive so far both ways, possibly after a few beers the night before?... I personally would rather fish the wye than a lake, but not i
