Never fancied it to be honest
  6. Crawford, Spence, Charlo, GGG, Canelo... young Benn looks exciting. Some decent boxers about at welter-super middle.. but the Hagley, Duran, Hearns, Leonard era must be the best... closely followed by Benn, Eubank, Watson..
  7. Prawn curry, with mange tout out of the veg patch....
  8. The heavies have been pretty shit for 20 years mate, the klitchko brothers were hardly exciting were they! Lol Welter weight - middle weight has always been the exciting fights with real superstars imo...but I do miss a lot of the lower weight fights and there are some brilliant boxers...that Inaue (spelling) is something else!
  9. 3 episodes in and loving it mate... I read Lonely Boy a little while back and have been looking forward to this series a lot.. Can't add anything to what you've put, agreed on Chrissie... she is worth the watch alone..lol The punk scene is a bit before my time, born 76 but as with any music and "scenes" I try and listen and love the impact it has on people, society, and obviously music.... Danny Boyle rarely disappoints so this is a well worth a watch!
  10. Went cinema and watched the new Top Gun last night, just me and the wife... Obvious story line, hammy acting, ... but I really enjoyed it...bit of nostalgia with brilliant action thrown in...
  11. God save the Queen! ?
  12. Used the boards to make the base rail for my balustrade... designed the rails with a mate to fabricate, bit of work in drilling and shaping the boards, but came up well...got an oak top rail to finish...
  13. Had a long chat with my lad, he's 16, about social media last night...he said I'm lucky as I've never really been on any of the shite, this place is the only place I ever yap on, haven't got FB, can't remember log in details to Instagram (had it for looking at wife's posts about cottage...I just get her to show me now lol)...my lad said he hardly goes on any social media now... its never been for me, these type of wankers are probably why...lol
  14. Mmmmmm.... they sound nice..??
  15. Mate to even mention a dead dog in the same sentence as a dead family member says all that needs saying about her...
  16. Just read it to the Mrs, she said it must be fake, no one says shit like that.. Errmmm, yeah they do, hence complete and utter f**k wits owning dogs they can't handle, breeding off them, filling the house with them and treating them like babies ... oh and when they kill the father in law by "playing a bit rough"... they say absolutr drivel like the above.... people are just dumbing down and becoming proper c**ts in their droves now..
  17. Probably not mate, I made a load of furniture for Marie's salon, it lasted well in there, but I'm not expecting it to be like oak..
  18. Just Danish oil mate...
  19. Matey made a poor decison there...ran the wrong way...should've followed his mate! lol
  20. Cheers Sean... Heading back in there now... I need a week off proper work so I can get it over the line, so close but still so far!! lol

    NEVER FORGET

Was up there a few weeks back for my other uncles funeral in Leatherhead, he was a well known character, great turn out and loads back the Cannon (Molesey) after. I've spent my childhood going up there, fishing the Thames at Hampton Court or the Mole or Ember, played football late teens in 6 a side tournaments at Molsey football club, was tapped to go and play there.. bit of a jaunt from Exeter lol.. I like the area a lot, we had a cracking meal in a little French place right near Hampton Court last time we were up... But... it has changed no doubt, opposite my uncles the row of
