    you can keep fish in most sized objects stig but you must keep a source of oxygen at all times if its not very big ,definitely in summer .Metal can leech some crap into the water over time but if its good enough for farm animals ect then I cant see why not .A little fountain is a good source of oxygen btw ..and also worth thinking about if its not very big you will need some kind of filter .
