    About 8 years ago I packed the dogs in after having kept lurchers ,terriers since I was 12/13 years old for some reasons that I wont go into ,but always said one day I would get myself another dog .. I would always pop in and see how my mates were getting on with there dogs and from time to time would look on here to see whats going on in the dog world .. after a couple of years I was ready to get another lurcher but sadly my son was involved in a motorbike crash which meant me and his mother pretty much looking after him full time for a few years so last year on my 40th birthday I went and

    if you go on the hound or bushing dog section there was some post on them there ,worth having a look mate....bit pricey but how much could you put on a good dog..?

    Fuji have you ever thought of using a tracking collar on your dogs as you said don went off into the forrest for a while just for piece of mind ?

    i agree with Qbgrey about a dog that's game but do you really want a dog to kill itself just for a rabbit or two ? I saw a collie grey a few years ago that would crash hedgerows after rabbits one time it hit a cut off branch that left a hole in its chest that you could of put your fist in second time it hit a tree stump as it crashed through another this time it didn't come out alive ..so what im saying I would prefere to see a few get away than have to bury my dog..jmo..

    was the bloke from here ? well done for taking the pup on mate ,my brother inlaw went to look at a saluki greyhound a few years ago and said the only way the seller could let him see the dog was to get a crowbar and prise the pallets that housed him apart he only got fed from having food thrown over the top if the pallets ...
