the picture below was taken by mr wilks. its the worst thing i have had in a net. we had just walked the field in and killing the net. this was just by the last peg and i grabbed it thinking it was a rabbit.. i wasnt happy but it tickled mr wilks theres no way i could have got this out but it wasnt the first one mr wilks had in a net and he did get it out with very little trouble i hate hedgehogs
  8. 4.5 inch mesh hand made double knitt (engels twine) invisable net.. you cant see this in the dark and do trip over it if your not careful.. 4 inch mesh early season big rabbit in fancy dress
  9. wtf you doing in bradford.. its the armpit of the north and she could possibly be one of bradfords finest
  10. he said in sunny beach there is bar after bar after bar so the liquid diet wont be a problem..
  11. not wrong but different, you can use what you want but if its stoney ground the thicker pins will be harder to push in to the ground. i have 5mm 6mm and 8mm end pins, mild steel is fine as its only in the ground and i have a net that was given to me, its had a few repairs and probably had the same mild steel end pins on for 6 years or so
  12. The trip out was from sunny beach but he stayed about 5km away. To shoot the big guns was extra butthat pushed the price to 35. He said foor was ok
  13. that sounds expensive...
  14. a friend just come back on monday. he said really cheap and he was shooting airgun, mp40, bolt action rifle, and ak47 after they took him out in 4x4 off roading in some ex russan military vehicle.. all for about £35.. +about 45p a pint up to as much as £1.50

well if we get one of them pigs i hope it rips through the net cos welding gloves or not i aint going near it.. but we might have some gloves that fit you
  18. i cant believe how well the net looks after picking up. theres many a netter who puts nets away a lot less tidy its a good habbit to get in to as they only run out as well as there picked up
  19. i got an old cluelite, ill look to see if its still working and get back to you.. no battery just the lamp
  20. thank you.. suppose they wont be for me.
  21. i was thing about stuggling to get them out but still i would like to try one all the same. just to have a valid opinion on them as right now i think there possibly over kill but unsure until i try them do you get chew through if using the 3.5 inner mesh? i would expect not often as in the day light ferreting you will be on top of the job. but with the 4 inch some will get there head through. at night i expect you would get chewing in the smaller mesh while walking the field as the rabbit head wont be passing through the mesh
  22. ok i might make 1 but only 25 yds to try, but whats the advantages of these? and are they for night also.. i dont daytime net and if i ferret i like to use purse nets, some times a shot gun
  23. look at the top pinned tab in long netting section (genuine net suppliers). if you find another supplier add to it.
