    are you using the cheep baccy? if your buying that shit from the house on the corner you will never get a good smoke. even baccy sold in some spannish shops is snide and that stuff will f**k you up quicker than the shop bought stuff..

    more often than not the max drop is 100 yds maybe 125 but i work with mr wilks so its not bad.. i dont have a rimmy and not good with a snare but thats by the by because i longnet for longnets sake. this is what i like to do.i have shot many rabbits and will continue to do so but if i get chance of a night on the nets or a night on the gun nets will win every single time...and i dont like quick/fast or speedy nets as it trad nets for me

    i went out today for some summer hunting like all good shooters do i saw 3 fully grown and a small rabbit in 2 hours. i went to lincoln last week and they were all over the place.

    i think you can run out what ever you can get in your coat... the problem is the length of time it takes to run the nets out as if your 20 minutes running 250 yds out then you walk the fields your net could well be full of holes with rabbits lost and possibly educated.. after walking the field you then got to rush down the net killing the net.. i would look at getting help

    if the drop was that big i would look at using quick set because your back will possibly give you gip at the end of a 300 yd drop im sure. if you aint got enough net take 25/50 yds nets and place them strategicaly. place them were you find the runs when walking in the day. netrigger will have qucksets you could take him and load him up wi all the rabbits

    i lamp, did once have a nv on one of my guns but i could not get on with it... im happy to lamp as i dont need a big bag, big bags every time leave you with nothing to shoot and/or the problem of getting more land

    do you think sliders an a hare net are benefical? i have been thinking about this on and off today since i have seen the pictures. like most i have had sliders on purse nets but i have not had them on any other net . the reason i ask is because with the line up on the pegs and the slider sat between the peg and end pin it looks like the slider could restrict the closing of the net because maybe it wont close fast due the the hole centres on the sliders.. then maybe as the top line drops of the pins it makes no differance.. im not critisising or picking holes in the way you do things as cle
