i was once told by a netmaker it all comes from bingley textiles... google it and you will get the number. im sure the price he gives you is as good as any, you probably have to buy a few.

i used to be told i looked like mr bean. then more recently alfie moon ( sisters kids liked to think so ) but nowadays it will be more like humpty dumpty..

i bought 200 yds of sheet netting from advanced netting for 36 quid delivered. it was 4.25 inch mesh i think, you then need top line and endpins but its not a waste of money buying the top line as you will have plenty spare and it comes in.... just phone and explain what you want it for the chap on the end of the phone will know what netting you need...

me and a friend dug 5ft through tree roots and rubble, the spade was too big for the deep stuff unless we made the hole wider so it had to be scraped out the bottom by hand an scraping a bucket we nicked out of the field. the ground was rock hard when we started and on a slope wich didnt help. by the time we were there abouts my mate was head first down the hole at full stretch scraping away the worst bit was the ferret moved on and we had to dig again :laugh: another 5 ft hole. -
very smart but i dont think the reg plate is legal...

its a hard one to call and i dont know either way. i have seen sometnig to say pre set might have been here a while but maybe the tradional is an evolution for the poacher..

ill give you a pair of end pins for postage money.. there 5 inch ring but thats a good thing if your new to longnetting as the net wont go over the ring and mess it up for you.they will need paint. i would use 7 pegs if your traditional netting, but we all do it different let me know by p.m. if you want them
