    Ive got a dog thats just the same,he will work all day with a pack of Black dogs with just the usual scuffle but out in the street or in the park he does my head in he wants to fight everything and if I was to let him off his lead he would so I muzzle him and let him off his lead thinking it could be because he's on the lead but NO still attacks with his muzzle on,can't stop he so I just walk him out the way I have 3 dogs and he is fine with them if its a good dog just put up with it

    Both my terriers love water,they started going in from a very early age,I was down at the pond one day and my Lab when in for a swim and the 2 terriers just followed her,and when they get hot they will lay in any water they can find Never throw them in

    Ratting theres just something about it that I love,fast-frantic-mayhem, I sometimes prefer it to digging you get to see all the action well done lads looks like you and the dogs had a cracking day

    I thought the program was well put together more pro than anti I think, while I was watching it I asked the wife to have a look,just bare in mind that the wife has nothing to do with hunting or my dogs or fishing/shooting,what so ever and never has done. and her exact words were whats wrong with that it doesn't look crule to me but what do I know (do you want a coffee)and off she went lol what I did notice is that there was about 20 anti's protesting and 1000's of people enjoying the sport,to me its just something else the goverment want to take from the working man,not a f##king clue livin

    Driving along today and saw a farmer filling his tractor up with diesel in his yard, so being the opportunist I am, pulled in to speak to him. I asked him if he had any problems with rats around his buildings or charlies around his lambs, and if he had any terrier work for me. He replied "you'll have to speak to the keeper, he sorts it all out" and told me where I could find him. I drove down the road a couple of miles and met the keeper (who the farmer had already phoned). After speaking to him about what kind of terrier work I was looking for, he said "Oh God yeh, I could do with some help,

    Ive got a dog and a bitch both Patterdales the dog is a good strong dog and he's really loyal he follows me about like he's my shadow The bitch works really well she's a lot quicker than the dog and she has a bit more sence,but she's a little cow bag seems to be a go it alone type,not as loyal to me as the dog you could say there are good points and bad points with both its a pain when the bitch breaks down I cant do a thing with the dog for 2wks but between the two of them they make a good team,so to me dog or bitch as long as the do the job it dont matter

    Ive got 2 Patts that are exactly the same, at home they are calm loving pets,but as soon as the leads come out and its time to go TOTAL CHANGE,once they get there heads down on to a sent there gone They do come back sometimes 2min others 10mins lost the bitch 36hrs once she was found 14 miles from home you cant stop a working dog working its a bit like asking a fish to stop swiming micro chip helps just incase it does get lost

    labs/spaniels etc will walk to heel without leads all mine did this and have never seen a collar or lead But if you have a Terrier good luck with that its just not in them,there far to hypo and fired up all the time,well mine are Ive tryed it with the terriers not a hope in hell
