    I brought a russell x patt a couple of yrs back,I was told by the breeder that it was from working parents I never saw the parents and drove 90miles to pick it up :doh:paid him my hard earned cash and home I went with it, thinking it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread Well what a bag of shite it turned out to be,I had it till it was 9 months old then got shut after that I got 2 Patts off my mate which I should of done in the 1st place not from the same litter and both of them dogs do the job perfectly well I guess want Im saying is only get dogs from lads you know and trust

    well done mate,you cant beat a bit of ratting,went out myself yesterday only had 6 with my two patts but they did manage to get a feral cat that was held up in some old tyre's

    it may help if you had some permission to go on,and then someone who needs permission or who has very little in your are could show you the rope as an exchange then its a win win situation

    Got a call out today from the keeper,said charlie had been taking his ducks and he had 4 earths to checkout which was great but this was 14:00,would have liked to have gone earlier or at the weekend but the man wanted it sorting so off we went, when we got there he was loading sugar beet so it was about 14:45 by the time he had finished and off we went, anyhow it was all a bit of a rush 15:00 1st hole no one home so we moved on to the next 15:30 2nd hole run the dog through she worked it for 10ish mins no mark 16:00 gone 3rd hole light starting to fade no one home,keeper wants a fag and a

    my bitch was the same as a puppy,she would chase blackbirds in the garden/pigeons any small prey shes 19moth old now and she doesn't chase birds anymore but if we are our working and she gets her head down on a scent forget it mate GONE till shes ready to come back but always comes back now good luck and have a lot of patience's ur gonna need it

    done nowt this year on my permission just a couple of digs we have seen plenty of foxes about when weve been beating in the woods but very few earths about been out ratting to keep the dogs busy

    Ive got 2 Patts the dog loves kids but not babies when they cry,and he can be temperamental around other dogs,he can be out all day with other dogs and then just kick off I have to watch him when we are out in public areas but he is very obedient and very loyal, and the bitch loves kids-babies she is good around other dogs but you have to keep a close eye on her otherwise it disappears she can be gone for hours I used to have JRT years ago and I must say they are a lot less stressful then the Patts but in saying that the Patts work harder and I wouldn't have any other terrier good luck

    went up the farmyard today for a bit of ratting only had 7 all dug out lost 5 but me and the dogs had a good couple of hrs the dog marked all of them,and bitch took a good bite under the eye a lot of blood but no problem pic take on mobile

    I'll tell you what, If I know for definate someone had my dog Id got get it back regardless of who there were or where they lived weather it be with my family and friends or even the police,but Im f##ked if Id let them get away with it gypo's or not my dogs are part of my family and as daft as it sounds there my mate's they cheer me up when Im down and if I kick the little fecker they still love me unconditionaly you all know what I mean let someone take um and do nowt - - - - - - - - - - - - - -I dont f##king think so

    only had one dig to a dog fox so far things are very slow up to now Im hoping it gets better now the weather's turned colder,but in saying that we have bolted 8 or so while out beating
