    Me and my son had a couple of hrs ratting this morning with the smoker it was a good session

    went out today ratting for an hour 1 dog 1 shovel and 1 smoker = 7 rats

    I went out this morning up to the farm yard with my son and one of my terriers for an hours ratting and we ended up with 7 its not many but its 7 less good fun and better than going shoping with the wife pic was taken on phone camera so not to good

    try her with a live trap 1st by herself see what she makes of it,you will know if shes going to do her job or not Not trying to put you off but I had a 7 month old bitch that killed a few but really her heart wernt in it I gave her time till she was 9 month still not really bothered in doing the job I wanted her for, my mum has her now as a house pet I guess what Im trying to say is if you need the dog to work rats on a regular basis or maybe shes just a house dog you need to put some thought into it and what you want the dog to do My Patts were killing rats at 5 months but all dog are d

    My 9 month old Pat bitch is just coming into season,and over the last few days she keeps throwing up :sick: ,in general she is ok apart from the spewing :sick: never seen this before so just wondered could it make have bad guts (or is that just women )I dont think she has eaten owt feel a bit of a tit asking,but generally concerned

    7 months is fine for rats mate just make sure its got its adult teeth,but in saying that my dog was killing rats at 5 month,all depends on the dog good luck with it

    When my mate breeds his Patts all his pups only go to working home's or they do go at all and if you ask him what line they are from he will gladly tell you "there from my line" and he breeds some cracking dogs

    I do a lot of carp fishing and Im camped out for a couple of days/nights,I take my Patt dog with me all the time he loves it,nice bit of company and he lets me know if there is anybody about but I have to bath the smelly little before I go co's he likes to crawl in my sleeping bag there's no reason why wont do the same good luck with him

    just bought this box or one like it off Titchy and very happy with it,strong-lightweight plenty of vents and with it being plastic easy to wash out and dry

    Like I said earlier dogs 1st dig,just got back from a good day to try out my 11 month Patt dog after a call from the keeper. First earth was entered with one of the experienced dogs but no-one was home. Second earth was entered by the same dog and someone was home. The dog settled down at 4 foot on a single holer. We broke through after 10 minutes to find the dog mixing it up with a vixen. My pup was on the top watching and getting himself wound up. We removed the dog and let my pup go. He was straight in without any hesitation, let him mix it up for a couple of minutes and then humanely dispa

    Going digging Sunday with some experienced mate's which is nothing new,but this time Im taking my dogs for there 1st dig,the dog is 11months and the bitch is 9 months not going to let the bitch go to ground unless there is no one home so she can get the feel of things but the dog has been to ground on empty earths, will be giving him his 1st occupied earth (1st one in so to speak) fingers cross hope he does well Ill let you know what happens
