  1. Only just started working Terriers myself mate and would be gutted if I lost one of mine. I've heard people say that they're just a tool for the job (what a load of shit). There's a lot of hard work that goes into getting a dog of that standard and through the process, they become your companion. Keep your chin up, all the best, Rik. RIP Jake

  3. If I was you mate I'd keep them on the rats for now and just see how keen they get,if they dont show much interest then trade them in for some Patts I used to have 2 KC Reg Staff they was a bag of shite not there fault its the breeders,I got rid of them asap all the best with yours
  4. I av to young Patt both less than a year old,they are coming on nicely now with rats,rabbits etc, but everytime they catch something the dirty :censored:rip um to bits and eat of try to eat it is this normal or will they grow out of it. ps and yes I do feed them
  5. perfectly normal for bicth pups to do that at some point,every pup Ive had has done it

  7. I work my Pats and I think I know what you mean but they only do it when they get in the van,when Im taking them out,its like a yawn and an howl together

  13. Thanks guys/gals for all ur tips,I bathed them in surgical spirit and warm water and it seem to be doing the trick he's walking on all four's today and not feeling so sorry for himself
  14. This may sound like shit guys/gals but I was in the Breckon Beacons last week doing some walking along with my dogs and we put a lot of miles in,poor little lad his pads are really sore, he's trying not to put any weight on them,any tips on what I can put on them to ease the soreness
  15. Patterdale all the way,awesome little dog fearless,loyal and just gets on with the job,but thats my opinion Ive had JRT and some have been good dogs Ive even had bull breeds but Patterdales just have that something special about um
  16. I was lucky my Pit had 7 pups and my JTR had 4 but 3 died, so I put 2 Pit pups on my russel she took them with no problems at all. They all turned out good pups
