That’s my plan king roofs of bed boxes will be ply lined in foil insulated then ply lined to sandwich it in.the roof of the shed will be done as well to help control some heat over the summer ?? Gunner try an do a decent job on it As I can that way only do it once rather than keep trying to fix issues

Busy weekend this weekend and last not enough hours in a day at weekends to get stuff done been investing some money in a complete new kennel set up for my dogs it’s strange when your in to working dogs you’d rather save an spend on them rather than your self as they become the reflection of your self it’s been a long time coming trying to get the cash together as normal day to day life takes the funds but proper buzzing to get it finished I’ve treated them/and my self to a new 21x5 ft shed 10ft of it is there’s each kennel box is 5x5 by 4ft high there runs will be 5ft x7ft be nice to get them

Got one hob left I used to keep 2-5 Jill’s an a hob it’s been a roller coaster ride the last 5yrs they’ve been slowly declining Down in the midlands I used to travel to some spots But not to far within half hour drive I had a few different bits of permo still got a couple of bits of ferreting permo was speaking to the owner of a sheep farm I get on last night He wants me to hammer the last of them back as much as I can as he’s got a few fields hes doing crops on this year so I’m going to have hammer the last of the warrens or else he’ll shoot the remaining I was trying to save them as stock fo

Shame ain’t it mate I was thinking the other day I wonder how many lad/lasses that have always liked a bit of ferreting that kept there own little strain of ferrets have called it a day due to lack of numbers It’s grim if you think to much in to it I mean some people have kept ferret stains an there choice of dogs they like to use going a long time an now more an more are finding there’s hardly nowt to go at so are pretty much redundant unless there dogs are handy enough to lamp a few or switch it up a bit shame really

To many people make excuses for there dogs but if they ain’t got what it takes they ain’t got it and there not honest about it or to there selfs there to busy making excuses for the dog why it won’t do the task or lieing to others what a great dog it is there’s no point in breeding out of such dog it’s counter productive breeding for sentimental reasons I’ve a dog here that didn’t make the grade on what I was expecting an what it’s bred for but not a total loss as she’ll mow rabbits down Day or night I’ll more than likely not bother to breed from this bitch I’d be kidding my self other wise un -

For me if a dog pulled up on rabbits that it could catch but just give up an not put the effort in to actually try it’s hardest to catch them it would be of little use to me that’s what I own the dog for is to catch not just when it wants to We don’t get second chances down here or no numbers so a picky dog is of no use for rabbits it needs to be a dog that don’t question it’s own abilities on them it needs to thinks it’s gods gift at catching them it needs to be a dog that runs all guns blazing win or loose. That’s not the point I was getting at but your right. what I was trying to get at with a bit of dry humour was any lurcher x bull x automatically becomes a bull x why not a collie bred lurcher or bedlington bred lurcher or a bitza how does it become a bull x I’ve seen bitzas with a drop of bull blood in them bred to other none discript types but still are classed as a bull x just because it has a small % of bull blood in them some of these dogs I’ve seen have more other type base blood in them ??

To me just sounds a made up name to help brand to sell pups imo people have been adding a bit of base to coursing dogs for like ever there nothing more than a lurcher used for coursing I don’t think a f1 saluki x bull would make much of a competitive coursing dog against a saluki x greyhound bred for the job but put back a couple of times to Match dogs that’s when stuff will start to be produced that could be handy for matching but that’s only if the bull is ironed out enough as most heavily bred bull crosses turn like a battle ship an are not tight turning animals

I used to love a Sunday chilled out ferreting session we used to do well down here on my old land plenty of work for a Few dogs now I recon one dog would get bored of just standing around with not a lot of action happening it’d been getting shiter an shiter for the last 4-5yrs down here so called it a day I ebayed my ferret finder off last year sold a load of nets to a local guy not that I really bothered using nets most were like new. The thought of my little arms having to dig out stopended rabbits sends my little arms in to shock there not cut out to operating the spade these days ??f**k d

If you were closer I’ve a hob you could of had I’ve had the same line of ferrets a number of years decided to pack in ferreting last year got rid of all my Jill’s because ferreting down this ways a waist of time you waist a day ferreting for maybe 1 rabbit that’s how bad it’s got it’s not worth the hassle it’s dead time your get more sport with a lamp an dog trespassing rather than stood around waiting for a bolt down here on permission the poor c**ts not even had a days work this season as I’ve not felt the times worth waisting ??

Just hope his phones clean to any hunting links/aquatints he has fella or there could be a whole new can of worms opened hope he gives them the heads up if it’s not clean what’s happened or they could all end up with egg on there chins as you know they can find out all sorts by a name an phone registered to you like addresses by that they can find out how many dogs you have by using pet log to see how many dogs are chipped to the address it’s never ending

There be in your phone mate if they’ve got it just because of a little security code won’t stop them getting in they have means of doing so an now think your hiding incriminating evidence that you don’t want them to see if you weren’t you would of shown them your phone just to get out of there they know have suspicions so may require access to your phone via other means there probably saying the rspca have it to buy there selfs more time to go through it why would the rspca need your locked phone It’s no use to no one locked right ? you on fb or messenger go on line on a family members account
