  2. you could contact "relic" from this site, ive had some gear from him and it does the job, think theres another lad on here that makes collars aswell. cheers, matt
  3. i was waiting for the blacknight , hahahahaha
  4. one of mine (22") shows no mercy to most things you put infront of him, as soon as i pull up at the vets he is a quivering wreck and in the house he is the softest daftest thing you have ever seen! so yes i would agree with the vet......
  5. not many folk will get rid of a decent dog this time of year......try a pup and bring it on yourself maybe?
  6. the right bait in a slow moving part of the river you will bag up mate. cheapest tin of tuna/makrel you can get, pierce it a few times.....hey presto! plenty of scent trail but they cant actually get to the bait in the tin, works perfect to me. matt
  7. just out of interest mate, how tall are the parants? matt
  8. my mom had a son that used to do it......then i left home! ferrets were a particular fave.....
  9. that must make me a beginner aswell......me and my pack are bloody useless! but we all enjoy ourselves and thats what matters! the more you are out the more you will learn....keep at it. p.s. learning to rewire a lamp would be a handy skill to have if you are the owner of a striker! lol matt
  10. ive encountered very similar with one of mine a few years ago, not the best coat to start off with on him but i narrowed it down to too much protien thats when i switched to an all BARF diet and it seemed to do the trick. good luck! matt
  11. my last pup i chose kinda stood out from the rest of the litter......when they were all called back into the pen, one of em ran the other way and hid under a deckchair peering out thinking no one could see him......so he came home with me....he still runs off and hides and ignores me at 18 months.lol matt
  12. golden oldies, the black dog is now 8 and still putting in a shift and is also the sire to my youngets "alf" and then there is murphy, wheaten/grey x whipp/grey
  13. good luck with the litter mate, lurcher x lurcher breeding is far easier i.m.o. lol matt
  14. there are bloody 1000s to be had in a nice little river that runs through wraks.......pm and i will let you know where, i put a few traps down in the summer and have some great nets, no permission needed if you go the right places! matt
  15. theres been a few times when i can only see their back end but thats about it, needless to say they are pulled out and put back on the lead as im sure you are well aware if a bigger dog can get thet far into a hole then its well out of bounds! matt
  16. turns out he can catch the odd rabbit or two aswell which is a bonus, thanks for the poitive comments chaps, im pretty pleased with his progress, although he still has a way to go yet. cheers, matt
  17. my 1st thoughts exactly leegreen, but he seems to be doing fine in em, as soon as there are any signs of hinderence they will be off! only put em on him when im going to certain places. WCM, from what im told the pups are doing fine, most of the bitches have levelled out a hell of alot smaller than alfs 24" and 1 of the black dogs has gone around 25". jack is looking nice by the way. he only just seems to be maturing and getting his shit together now as ive told you on PM, so the future is looking pretty rosie for him. his sire is no spring chicken but still doing a fair job when needed aswe
  18. great job, ive seen a few that look a bit cross eyed.....
  19. what sort of price did you pay to have that mask done mate? top class job! and does he do other stuff? cheers, matt
  20. a nice parka.....lol, theres plenty on fleabay to suit all mate. matt
