got one of these collars on one of mine and he his 24" and lightly built. i went for a 2" whippet cut collar with the double buckles and i can honestly say the collar will outlive me nevermind the dog. at thirty quid thay aint the cheapest but i cant knock em. the fella that makes em lives just down the road from me and he knows his stuff. was a pleasure doing buisness with him and i would reccomend his gear, but as always.......you pays your money, you takes your choice! cheers, matt

A couple of hours on the stick
mattyg replied to buster gonads's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
BBB, cant beat the sight of a dotted down float tip sinking below the water, although each to their own and the waggler has its place, im just getting all "strawberry tinted glasses" over the whole "stick float thing", if i aint chucking fluff (very badly) im usually trotting a stick down a tiny river in warwickshire or just watching watching my dogs slightly bother the local rabbit population. the rabbits seem to like being chased from what i can see as they never get caught....lol matt -
A couple of hours on the stick
mattyg replied to buster gonads's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
fishing the stick is the best method bar none. that was the only way i knew how to fish when i was a kid as thats what i was taught on the river blythe, dont get enough time to don me waders and get out in the middle of the river nowadays. for me, theres alot more skill and involvment in fishing the stick than just launching a massive feeder/bomb out and waiting for the same muddy carp to pick up your bait on one of those bloody carp puddles. long live proper fishing! lol matt -
although not interested in taking the pup on, would love to see a pic if thats not too much trouble, just to satisfy my curiosity. hope the pup gets a decent home mate. matt

ive got a dog here that DISLOCATED his hock, strapped up and and a splint and just shit and piss walks for 6 weeks, then lead walks for another 6 weeks minimum and a whole lot of patience....its amazing how unfit they get after missing a whole season (but thats down to me aswell.lol). and the black guy from lichfield is don, alot of the lads from the midlands will know him well from his days at dunton vets (mrs jones') i use another guy who used to work at dunton, andre pretorius, he is the vet at hall green i think (or perry barr). hope your dog comes good. matt

ive got access to a top class bushing bitch, if its in there she will have it out, no matter what it is! i only keep lurchers so she is a great help to me and my useless pack of mutts! she will also stick to any subterrainian task given the chance! thank god for bellman and flint is all i can say.lol exactly the same colour as a fox but without the bushy tail but my lot can tell the difference straight away, but that only comes from years of working together! a valued member of the team and very hard to replace! matt
