Semi auto .22 are good as you say but you have to be careful at a dig to keep the damned things out the mud or they jam or at least mine does -

They're only pointless if you know the answer. Aye there pointless cause folks will never grasp that they are different tools for different jobs neither is better than the other I understand where you're coming from, but we all had to learn somewhere mate. By the way, what is better, a hammer or a pair of pliers? Hammer cause what it dont fix it can smash lolYou know this is the most worrying forum on the net, responses like that from someone that actually has a gun licence. Well done chap, Let the world read. :toast: Aye I'm sure the antis will worry about a comment left in jest such as

Best way to help in this situation is to point you to they box in the right hand corner of your screen that says search type in 17 vs 22 and it will take you to more pointless threads on this subject than you will ever want to read.

I wish they would just issue a card like a driving licence then the paper part could stay at home and the card could be carried

Landrover Are They Really As Unreliable As Everyone One Says
danw replied to davis8008's topic in General Talk
I was gonna say Dan, as work horses, look at the guys who work the land, keepers, farmers, they all have them. I've had a few discoverys, troopers and a nightmare shogun. The discovery was my favourite. Constant 4 wheel drive, pull 2 16.2hh horses no probs. used them for field management, great machines. I think land rover are the only maker who only do 4x4's which speaks volumes. Like everything else you get good and bad. Never had a defender, like the best of both worlds in the discovery ISUZU. Sorry mate but try googling isuzu gemini that be a car -

Interesting comments, but speaking as some one who uses on defender properly I.e 10k miles off road per year most the time with half a ton of pellet or corn in the back they cant be beat put it on the road regularly though and I wouldnt want it yep you will need to spend time on the spanners but no worse than anyother vehicle thats used properly, before anyone whinges I've had l200, hi lux and landcruser they broke just the same. All that said if you want one for the school run like most the folks on here have then dont get a defender they are hateful on the road and the japs are better show -
Glover...how Does He Get Paid To Write
danw replied to Big bald beautiful's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
No being funny mate but the majority of shooting folk see tha ST as nothing more than a comic and the rest only buy the feild or Gazette -
So how many folk on here have had a dog shot very few if any would be my guess and why is that well pretty simple you have dogs that are trained more than the average pot licker nearly every time a dog gets it the townie owner thinks tiddles is just playing and dont mean no harm to they stock think on this we all thought the video of fenton was funny but the reality is that is the common standard of training and lets be honest if you can't stock break a lab you shouldn't have a dog

Where did I say I would creep about in the dark I would quite happily walk into his field in the middle of the day and do what to his animals what he had done to mine ........... Didnt aim it at anyone inparticular but since you replied I can only guess you felt ashamed of your post

exactly mate. Dogs been worrying sheep, farmers been shooting dogs since time began. It happens. I know guys who have dished out punishment to a farmer not for shooting there dog but for catching them poaching and grassing them up. Big brave guys that need Dutch courage thinking its a laff to do stuff back. If the farmer ever caught them, they'd be silage Aye its funny aint it how these big hard blokes aint the balls to chap on the farmers/keepers door and have a word, threads like this really show the true character of some of the people on here.

Make I laugh all this I'll burn ya barn down or kill you stock that to me is the sign of a true coward snivelling around in the dark exacting some childish revenge as my granda always said either front up or f**k off

Awwwww for fucks sake malts younger than me lol

Yellow blossom clover and chicory with a nurse crop of triticale or you could use reed canary grass but that will need a nurse crop as well failing those go for kale

Don't have many magpies in this area but plenty crows. Caught many in the Larsen but I never kept the call bird more than a week. Oh and I never let the egg/ chick eating swine go either... Lol  Id kind of got attached to him after haveing him so long. He was an excellent call bird, and if i put another magpie in with it, it was dead in hour's. I just want him back in my trap and il be happy Marty. Do you have multiple birds in the same section mate.... If so, why?Why ask such a question.? The law states..you can only have one call bird at a time in any one trap. My traps co
