In Scotland for Roe but then only provided bullet exceeds 50 grains + 1,000 ft/lbs energy + 2,450ft per second.. In England and Wales min calibre is .240 with 1,700 ft/lbs energy. http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1991/54/schedule/2 Worth pointing out as you don't want to get caught out. As charlie caller said small deer both muntjac or cwd are perfectly legal for .223 in England but not the hornet

Not wanting to sound cunty and I may be wrong but from your posts it would strike me that you have little experience of using a cf rifle that being the case before you start worrying about the rifle, load etc I should get some one who has experience to shoot it for you then at least it rules you out cause no mater what anyone says the largest variable when shooting is the person behind the gun Atb Dan

danw replied to GEOFF.223's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
In the United States, taxes and strict regulations affect the manufacture and sale of suppressors under the National Firearms Act. They are legal for individuals to possess and use for lawful purposes in thirty-nine of the fifty states.[26] However, a prospective user must go through an application process administered by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which requires a Federal tax payment of USD $200 and a thorough criminal background check. The USD 200.00 buys a revenue stamp, which is the legal document allowing possession of a suppressor. The 11 where th -

The nra consider anything over 3319ftlbs as a high Me when you consider the 50 has an approx ME of 13-15000 ftlbs its in a different league even a 30-06 can be pushed over their threshold to classify it as high ME Still be a fun day though let us know how you get on

So f*****g true malt. There were posters splashed about up here with a picture of a guy lamping urging folk to report illegal poaching, it had the basc logo on it. Not everyone lamping is a poacher as you know, so why make out they are They poster are bollocks anyway the folks as are going to report poaching already know whats legal and what aint its just the basc trying to distance its self from dogmen in an attempt to move the attention from themselvesIt's pretty sad though mate the way our sport has been washed down the sewer. I know plenty of poachers who use guns not dogs. The lurcherman

Thanks for the video mate but ive never doubted that they dogs could do that.... Not sure how old they were but on the last retrieve it made them out to be pretty shite if i'm honest... Would have been interetsing to see one injured and what happened apart from the one we saw with the dog just barking at it although it did state it was its first injured fox... Pity we never got the chance to meet up at DanW mate.......i'd have loved to prove too you what some Labs can do on retrieving wounded foxes if the chance had arisen..(unlikely i know). I'll have my phone set to video this season whe

Well mate i'm the same as Borderscot....ive said my opinion. I jokingly said "Have to catch it first" and i recieved a few snippy comments. Not that i worry about that i'm happy to debate stuff. Now these GSP and weimaraners that you have seen...? Theyve coursed and killed foxes have they? Cheers... I'm not taking about retrieving...my big dog does that as a wee party piece on shoot day.... Mate coursing and killing fox is illegal so no I wouldnt admit to watching that in the uk post ban. I would however suggest you find out what is required of these dogs to pass the german field trials i
