  1. I can honestly say your japs eye is not designed to have anything shoved down it, umbrella is not good, i would rather be jewed with no anesthetic Ive got a 7mm prince albert and (years ago) when I went the gum clinic, I asked her if I should take it out, she said "Nah, I`ll just go down the side of it and did just that...

As for the kettle`d water, Ive been using fresh rain water, seeing as we`ve had plenty, now its dried up, I`ll go back to the kettle.
  6. In all truth, it was a bit anti-climatic when a white flower popped. I wanted a "feed me Seymour" plant like in the little shop of horrors
  7. Hey all, bought a venus fly trap just before xmas and shes been on the kitchen window sill since. It started to flower around a month ago. Thought I`d post it as Ive never seen one in flower before.
  8. I don’t suppose you know the names of the species of the voles and lemmings that have died out? I’m interested in that type of thing. They`re also doing water voles near me.
  9. Thanks. Couldnt really skimp on it, she`s just watched me build my ferret court - and with a nice kennel and run planned in the summer
  10. With a big clean up and rework on the cards for the back garden, I took down the big (too big) shed and run, down sized to just 6 hens and made her indoors this. Nice to be able to make a start with all this nice weather.
  11. i usually get mates to pick them up for me at game fairs but bridport nets do them online too, http://www.bridportnets.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5&sort=20a&page=2 Yeah thats where I got my last lot from, a fair. Dont really wanna put any more dough bridports way, nothing but bad service and shite gear. Ive only used them twice, wont be a 3rd.
  12. Staged to feck. The bit they done wash away.. I said to my mate, they probably got the locals to build the bridge in return for the 3 trucks when they were done.

  14. Nice catty that mate Is that a catty from bells of hythe mate always fancied one myself Yeah thats the one, didnt realise I was so close, so it took a trip to the shop. Watched matey put the whole thing together in a few minutes. Thought I`d watch for the monkey see, monkey do lesson.. Cant really fault it for £25, ready to shoot, and with a couple of choices of elastic and 3 sizes of pouch.
  15. Where do you get the rings Paul, I get my rabbit gear from agouti, but I dont think he does big rings.

  17. Thats the first thing I thought, seems like they went through a lot of trouble for an unknown quantity. I`d be looking real close to home. Any neighbourhood kids go fishing, you taken a nipper under your wing lately? Either way, bunch of b*****ds. Hope you get it back or at least hope your insured bud. Ive not done a lot the past two seasons but I still cant bring myself to put my kit in the shed. Feck, I even keep my crappy power tools in the cupboard under the stairs...

  19. Get an air rifle or a big f**k off cat. Failing that, phone the landlord.. If you have rats, surely your neighbours do too. What have they said or doing about it?
  20. I thought of knocking something similar up using a clock to turn a rod the eggs were resting on, two full rotation in 24hours should be enough shouldn't it? Im guessing thats similar to how it works any way, it makes a low ticking noise like a household mains timer when running, maybe incorporate one? I cant quite remember but last time I looked in there, it was just a bar attaching to the egg tray,(which looks like the bottom of a freezer basket) going to an oval cam, constanlty turning - just like a timer. All sat on a pretty friction-less tiny mesh so it all slides about, eggs and all.
