  1. Thanks folks. I'm already onto McDonald's and the environmental health people. They do seem to be taking it seriously. But it's all just such a slow process. I'm now setting traps. The rats were out last night but didn't get trapped. I'm sure that they're laughing at me.
  2. Thank you. I've not had much luck with poison. The rats just won't take it. I'm currently trying traps but it seems so slow. What's a fen? Thank you!!!
  3. I don't know much about this stuff so please forgive me. Are ferrets good for tackling a rat problem. I have a small garden and I am inundated with rats. Thank you so much.
  4. Hi. When the fella from the council comes out and inspects the poison he says it hasn't been touched. But I see the rats every night. I'm hoping the traps help. But there seems so many of them. They're digging my plant beds up with their tunnels. And I see them running round the garden.
  5. Hi. Thank you. So are there illegal ways to kill rats. Surely as long as I'm not torturing them or anything it's not illegal. They're vile pests.
  6. Dympna and Drogo are two saints who experienced mental illness and therefore have a special place in my heart. It isn't an anagram and I'm not up to anything sinister. I've never been on here before. I found some of the posts above very confusing. I do have holes in the garden where I see the rats coming in and out. There are currently traps around the main one. I have been obsessed with keeping the garden not rat friendly. I have a family and I am repulsed by having rats in the garden. I afny got in the house I'd probably have a meltdown and have to sell my house. I am pestering and p
  7. i find you post a tad sniffy Crumbs sorry. I'm not sure what sniffy means. But I'm sorry if I upset you. I was genuinely shocked that there are illegal ways to kill rats.
  8. Hi.The council are attending to it. But the rats won't eat the poison. I'm always on the phone to environmental health and McDonald's. No one gives a stuff. I didn't realise that there were illegal ways to kill rats. Would I be breaking the law with ferrets or dogs? Thank you.
  9. Hi folks. Thank you for the help. I've been onto the council and they've been out many times and laid poison. But the rats just don't touch it. I've just got some traps and I'm hoping for more luck. But it just seems so slow. I'm obsessive about keeping my garden spotless. Definitely no feeding birds! I'm getting desperate. The car park is owned by McDonald's and I've been onto environmental health. But apparently as McDonald's employ a litter collector they are not obliged to do any more. I need more drastic ways of killing them.
  10. I live in Liverpool and have a problem with rats in my garden. I only have a small garden that backs onto a car park. But I've got rats every evening. I'm not having much luck with poison or traps. Could anyone help me? What are my options? Ferrets? Dogs? I hate the horrible things and me and my family can't go in the garden. Thank you.
