    dont know about the best but who does. but an old threequarter greyhound x quarter am pbt i owned would run all night on fox deer hare or rabbit and was as game at the end of the night /morning as at the start and never took a backward step this was all pre ban and in better times for us than nowadays .which is more the pity .

    used a lot when i was racing the greyhounds and still use some on the lurchers but not as much. multi vit and cod liver oil and thats about it really .

    True words fellah... Nowadays,..(unless it is a paid day)..I just want the 'quality' and feck the quantity... At over 60 of age,...suddenly, life seems too short, to worry about having a poor day, coz now, every day,.. is a bonus.... All the best, and good hunting,..CHALKWARREN... my sentiment exactly got a false hip and gammy knees but plenty of good memories and 2 good dogs that can still do it for me ,and like you every day out with them is a bonus .

    i used the womans pill on my greyhounds but i was only flapping got to get the prescription from the vet then take it in to a chemist or pharmacy, one a day works a treat and was told by the vet a greyhound will find time on these .also doesnt hurt the bitch as when mine finished racing i took her off them and bred from her .

    strange but true how a day out with the dogs can be a good day for one person but a shit day for another person . as ive got older ive learned to enjoy every day out with the dogs whether its a day when its busy busy and game everywhwere or whether its dead with nothing about of, course the one is more enjoyable than the other,but as i say i really enjoy what ever the day out brings with it but ive been out with some who always seem to find something to moan about if its a quiet day or not very busy. perhaps its an age thing because i can remember feeling the same when i was younger and start

    just because it dont get talked about or seen as much dont mean it dont go on anymore the ones your talking about still got good dogs and the fens aint exactly quiet on weekends or middle of week. operstion gallileo wasnt exactly set up to give the six coppers on it a quiet life ,in fact the opposite

    That's dedication. The fens is a great daytime running ground but in bad weather there's just nothing to stop the wind. well done gorger dog is running out of his skin for you fair play to you and the dog and know how you feeel, was up there yesterday nine hour round trip in the ca rand it was real heavy running .yeti boots coming of the fen ime bolloxed today and didnt have the boat trip like you .big thumbs up . :thumbs: mind you didnt sleep all night waiting for alarm to go off so that didnt help .

    nice well put together dog from what i can see .way to heavy a dog for me but it aint me that feeds and owns it so it doest really matter .theres one locally equally as big and as heavy and that can catch and is very agile .and it is used to the full.
