    in fairness to b plummer he probally got more people and kids in to hunting through his books than anyone else out there and tbh loved his books ,but lets be honest he was a teller of tall tales being polite .. i dont think that anyone can or would doubt that he was a very clever man, in fact a very very clever man ,but he was also eccentric as a person and to say theres no one on here to compare with him as a person your probally right but as an author and hunting man at least jd has does what he says in his books and imo his books are up there and in some cases better thats my opinion and o

    at 59 and having running dogs all my life ive found all the crosses mentioned can be good bad and somewhere in between a lot depends who owns it and how much work they do or dont put in front of it, and what kind of work they have bought the said dog to do .. right dog for the right owner and your more than half way there the reverse and your fecked from the start .

    Well thats for each individual to decide each to their own opinion pal THE DOG ON THE VIDEO IS RUBBISH IF THATS WHAT YOU CALL A GOOD DOG I SEEN SOME WORLD BEATERS, havnt seen the cd but that dog is a lot of things but rubbish he certainly isnt. dont agree with the best dog in britain rubbish but he is a very, very good dog .who catches a lot of what he goes after .

    sorrt mate was holding 2 dogs on top of a dyke and it came up out other side of dyke and run straight in to some thick cover beutiful animal though .

    was out around newark last wednesday and saw a fox same colour as that hare .
