    I over heard a bloke in a pub telling another bloke he would get him a few rabbits at weekend & i started talking to him turned out i knew his wife so she vouched for me & he took me out with his two lurchers the following week & I've never looked back. Sadly he died a couple of years ago. I remember first nite out saying to him have you brought any thing to carry rabbits with & he said Yes You!!! He had two Deerhound crosses that took everything Halcyon Days!!! Atb

    Ive had pure Deerhounds running all except teeth by 12 months & my deerhound crosses earlier. All pre ban of course. Never done any harm. Atb

    I had a lurcher few years back father to daughter mating she was developing into quite a handy bitch unfortunately broke her neck one nite lamping! She had no quirks or health problems. Atb

    Horrible pair of cnuts. Watched an american program where the judge sentenced a woman for starving her animals to prison & for first 3 days he ordered that she only be fed Bread & Water!! Should do same here but for longer period!!

    Hpr. Years ago i put underfloor htg in my bigger kennels then tiled on top & dogs wouldn't go in it so i had to disconnect it?? Ive redone kennels & now got 100mm kingspan under tiled floor & in roof 50mm kingspan in walls & a while back when really cold snap i put heatlamps on & all dogs laid in run as too warm in kennels so turned heat lamps off.

    Lad i know treated a tail injury himself on one of his lurchers & it went bad got all infected. He ended up at vets & had to have end of tail amputated. He then got prosecuted as he waited too long before taking dog to vets. He's now not got any dogs after keeping/working dogs for 25+years!!!

    The point i was making in original post was Farmer didnt give a toss when non running/sighthound type chasing hares but if had been one of mine i dont think he would've been so easy going!!! Ive tried several times to get permission on his land as got a few rbts aswell but no chance as his sons shoot it. They just drive around shoot from Landy & leave what they shoot where its shot. Atb

    Was walking my 4 lurchers with a mate & his pet Lab all mine were on leads as where we were walking has a very high population of Hares. My mates lab was chasing them all ovef the place, obviously no chance of catching but still running them. Along comes farmer in his 4x4 laughing at the lab then puts down his window & says to me make sure you keep them Fcukers on leads??!!! Then he drives off!! Wtf so as long as dog not capable of catching hares is it not coarsing???

    First time i fed my kids Deer they kept asking what it was so in the end i said i'll give you a clue.. Its what mummy sometimes calls me ?? At which point my elder Daughter spat it out & said i aint eating Twat!!! The older i get the more i like my meat cooked ?
